    Morning all,

PF hope you got some more sleep.
Dizzy, I don't often get to daily target on sb's as I just get annoyed with it. I didn't know about swago til recently but basically you click on the link and it tells you what you need to do to earn a bonus most of them its just clicking on banners. I don't fill the whole board I either just do a row which is 5sb or a cross which is 10sb. its not big bucks but its quicker then doing the vids etc
Dnms, Did you get the drawers from market place?
    Clf, have a lovely holiday
Ziggy, hope your moods lifted :grouphug:
Foxgloves, great news about your bike. Any more news on dh's job?

I managed to complete my list yesterday even after only 2hrs sleep, I didn't snooze in the day for fear of not sleeping again in the night. I stayed up til 10.30 and then slept through to dh's alarm going off this morning which was much better then yesterday.

    Todays list
    * usual with kids breakfasts/breakfast club
    * gym and refilled water bottle there
    * called at the cs on the way back with some bags/scooters/toys and got a number from them for who to call to arrange collection of bigger items from rental when we are ready
    * popped into aldee - forgot my list but when I've checked my list off at home the only extra thing I'd bought was an oven liner (which is for the rental house) so that was good
    * ran the dishwasher on the quick wash

    Still to do
    * empty dishwasher Done
    * clean kitchen using stardrops/cloths Done
    * source more vent paper stuff on hold as my mum thinks a little shop in town will have it so she's going to have a look
    * message sis to see if she has spare oven rack from her old oven as the rental one only has 1.(shes a bit of a hoarder!) Done, she's having a look as I type!
    * parents coming round for brunch - use up style! Done, and there are sausages and beans left for the kids, they can have it with a jacket potato for their tea tonight
    * check banking etc Done
    * check surveys
    * iron dh's work shirts now they're dry
    * clear spare room/office up as I need to be moving furniture in there before Friday Done well I made a start
    * washing away off radiators Done
** took a car load of junk to the tip from other garage, still more to go but it was busy today so will do another load later in the week
** cleaned, replaced a bulb and put cooker vent hood thing back together
** found instructions online so that I could find out how to take the oven door apart to clean - got to love the internet!
** made families lunches for tomorrow
** shared bath water and continued use up of lotions and potions
** made another chicken curry using spice mixes from s1mplyc00k boxes my dad gave me. Enough for tonight and tomorrows meals (so long as I remember to pick up some naan bread whilst out tomorrow)
** changed planned meet up with a friend to the afternoon so that I can come home and eat first (will only have a drink out then which I have enough loyalty stamps for it to be a freebie anyway)

Will be back to add more as the day goes on.

    Take care all.

  • Afternoon folks!

Big hugs to everyone, especially the poorlies or those feeling low xxx

I've taken the day off work today as it's car day! We picked it up 2 hours ago. It is very shiny. A bit sad saying bye to the old one but I'm really relieved that it made it to the end. Can't even go for a nice spin in the new car as OH has taken it off to work!

I'm starting with a sore throat... not surprised as my office is a plague pit at the moment but I'm hoping to fight it off for my jollies tomorrow.

Even though I'm off today, I''m going in now for an important meeting. i could swerve it but I think it would bite me in the bum in the long run.

    Small things today:
    • B/L/D from stores
    • New car should be more fuel efficient!- done
    • Gym this morning- done
    • Triage fridge for anything that needs freezing
    • Tidy house
    • Book taxi - done
    • Possibly go to open evening at nearby tattoo/barbers. My masseuse works from there... might get some freebies.

    Evening all :)
    :jto new car CLF
PF, hope you got back off to sleep :( I am rubbish at sleeping too.
It was actually quite a nice day weather wise today, though chilly now and the stove is alight :)
    Done today:
    Nothing spent today :D

    Checked banks
Folded and put away washing dried overnight (nothing needed ironing :j)
Quick tidy round as the manager from the carpet and flooring shop was due to come round re my complaint. The upshot is they will redo part of the carpet and someone else will be coming to do it rather than the sweary man who messed it up last time
Chopped up and froze some rubbery apples from the fruit bowl

OH helped me to replace a large plant pot in the front garden which had broken due to the frost. Used a pot we already had, so no cost. The plant was ok, so all good :)
Scattered around a box of flower seeds left over from last year. They may or may not grow (I bet some will) but at least it isn't in the cupboard now!
Listed a few items on ebay
Packed up a sold item ready to post tomorrow, used mostly recycled packaging.
HM soup made yesterday for lunch, there was enough for DD and GS, who came round to visit, as well, and still more left for tomorrow :)

Sowed some seeds for micro greens :)

Made steak and kidney pies, had most of one for dinner
Mixed leftover mashed potato with some freshly cooked sweet potato mash :)
I have a baked cheesecake in the oven, using up some not very nice biscuits that had got shoved in the freezer. Also used up a slightly rubbery lemon :) Pity I had to add soft cheese and soured cream to yesterday's shopping to make it though :o But there is soft cheese left to spread on rice cakes for lunches :)
I now have yet another pile of washing up, and the dishwasher is on as well :( Sadly I only have enough room for a slimline one, I really miss the full size model we had in our previous house!

    Morning all (just!)
Ziggy, I hope you have a lovely afternoon, we've seen Blood Brothers twice and I loved it.
BB, enjoy your day at home! I like days were we don't have to be anywhere and can do as we please!

    Todays list
    * usual breakfast arrangements for kids :)
    * gym session done and refilled water bottle etc :)
    * brunch at home rather then toasted sandwich in costalot :)
    * cleared another bags of rubbish out of the rental house garage - can nearly see the back now! :)
    * chased potential tenants to chase their references as its dragging on a bit now :)
    * moved a table from other house to use as a desk for dh at home, needs a good clean up but is more sturdy then his existing bodged up desk we made him last year.

    Still to do
    * check banking/update cashbook/ email it back to me Done
    * meet up for a coffee with a friend and remember to use my loyalty card for a free drink Done
    * clean the new desk as I think dh is going to wfh tomorrow now
    * pick up some naan bread whilst out and nothing else! Done, picked up a large bar of chocolate because it was on offer and then remembered this post so promptly put it back!
    * kids didn't finish all the sausages yesterday there is 1 left each so will do them that with a friend egg, beans, tomatoes and jacket spud for their tea
    * leftover chicken curry for us tonight
    * make families lunches for tomorrow
    * straighten up spare room/office more as the bed is piled with stuff whilst we've been moving things around this week & move a huge tv stand out of there into the garage ready for the cs to collect when I sort out a collection
    * iron dh's work shirts - this feel off yesterdays list but will help with clearing spare room so will try and get it done today
    * watch mission impossilbe 5 with dh tonight from our dvd stash
    * run the dishwasher on the quick wash

Thats my starter, better get going as I'm meeting my friend in 10 minutes!

    Take care all.
