ATB can your OH do some decorating / putting up shelves etc? you must have some thing you need doing.

He works away from home all week every week, he's in a serviced apartment, it's being away from home that he finds hard and I think why he ends up at the pub.

School run done, DS seems perkier so hopefully he will be going back tomorrow. Full shop done at Aldi, some more money shuffling done, whole house polished.

I'm now going to put yet more laundry away, run DS a bath, and get my pjs on x

I hope Mr Ionafan's health problems are on the way to getting sorted out. Fingers crossed.

*Healing vibes* for a Master ATB.

    Safe journey, Kazwookie.

Three more jobs crossed off my list of 15 things to do this week. Good. I've still got three days to do the other 12 so I might manage the whole list this week. That would be fab.

Well done, Wish :T:T:T Enjoy your few days away.

I am exhausted, have slept for over an hour on the sofa tonight, and am just about to fall into bed.

I might fly a bit tomorrow. We were meant to be going out to the forest for lunch, but bad weather is forecast so we might batten down the hatches again, then it will just be me and Rosie getting wet on her usual walk.

Well my day started at 3am with a trip to A&E with DS3.. he is fine.. requires surgery in a few weeks but he will live.

Girls dropped at breakfast club at 8am.. and I went back to bed..

just nodding off and the drs rang..

they got my blood test results back from Wednesday morning.. bit speedy.. insisted I was seen today.. so I thought I was going to die... turns out I'm a bit anaemic.. (7.3... seriously all that carry on for that .. I rather feel robbed) My thyroid is having a wobble and she sucked air through her teeth at my cholesterol like it was 97 or something.. it is 4 .. honestly.. its loopy..

Then she tried giving me iron tablets.. can't take those.. I'll give you lactulose.. can't take that, nearly killed me last time and instead of the 30ml prescribed I had 2.5ml .. then she wants a referral to 'anaemia clinic' and gynae.. !!!!!!??? Clearly AF is the source of all problems so I MUST want a referral because after 35 years of periods I couldn't possibly be able to cope with 2 weeks of bleeding every month.. and tried forcing me to have a coil or the pill (I turn into a psychotic crazy person with anything vaguely hormonal.. I don't even want to be around myself) .. then to top it all off she offered an endoscopy..

I said look.. give me the canesten I need and the thyroxin which I won't take but it will make you feel better and if you must do a referral do the anaemia one.. (I'm cancelling it the week before.. bloody stupid.. why would I want that?!) but I'm not having any of the rest of it.. so she started harping on about me being unwell.. I said I've spent the last few months running about like a blue azzed fly, moving furniture, school runs, decorating, visiting OH's family, laid a new floor etc.. I am NOT unwell... I'm fine.. well you look tired... that because I was at A&E at 3am and have had a total of 5 hours sleep in the last 48 hours.. I am tired.. but if I go to bed at a reasonable time (Which clearly I haven't done!!) I will be right as ninepence tomorrow... you look pale.. I'm of scottish and irish ancestry.. I look like a bleached ghost, I'm blue.. If I buy foundation I buy it at halloween because it is the only time it is on sale! Seriously screwed up system..

Honestly.. when I needed referrals I wasn't allowed them and today she wants me to do a hospital tour..

So allegedly my thyroid doesn't work yet I have no symptoms at all.. likely? I think not.. And I do agree I am anaemic.. I have thrush in my mouth and elsewhere and my eczema is having a flare up.. those are my anaemia symptoms.. I don't do tired or dizzy or anything else.. just that.

Oh.. and as a vegetarian I need to eat more red meat.. hahahaha...

On a flying note I have.. on my 10 minutes sleep..

    2x WM
    1x DW
    1x TD
1x school run (got in 11000 steps)
painted 2 alcoves twice and washed the roller/brush after.
put away a pile of clothes
    cleaned the loo's
swept the efflorescence off the newly plastered wall
Booked a quote/assessment for DPC to check why we have said efflorescence
Rearranged carpet fitting because the guy is in hospital
    wiped worksurfaces

And... researched curtains for the back room..

Oh.. I squeaked in a 25 minute power nap to get me through doing dinner.

Tomorrow I have to reshuffle my plans due to carpet not being done.. and I have several more days of a sideboard in the kitchen, but I will survive!

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday accounted for next week.. I will sit down one day.

    Anyway.. off to my nest..

Love and hugs and cages for BD's to all in need xxx

  • Bless you Piggers sounds like you’ve got your hands full.. please take a little time to look after you too!
I am avoiding the Drs.. Have a sneaky feeling that I have arthritis in my left thumb, its very tender and has over the last year gradually bent out of shape..trying to use my hand in certain situations is very uncomfortable especially at work (I’m a HCA) I also think my thyroid is on the blink.. pah.. I shall add myself to the recycling next week (that would be a site to see for the poor folks picking it up, me perched in the box:rotfl:)
Attempted to organise Ma’s paperwork and bills..
Done the dailies regularly, yet everything else has gone out the window thanks to DS2 and his need to cause total soul destroying chaos.:mad:
If I am honest I feel very low, exhausted (Pernicious Anemia giving me jip) and alone...
DS’s Father is about as much use as a chocolate teapot so dealing with DS2 falls to me.. I today told the college (he attends a 14-16 centre) I am at my wits end and can honestly see why in the wild some animals eat their young..:o
I’ve been told that he doesn’t get help/funding for outside agencies because of me.. ME.. BECAUSE I AM A GOOD MOTHER!!! How can that be right.. Ive begged an pleaded for help yet time and time again, nothing..

Apologies for the rant.. I’ve simply no where else to go to, cant tell my Ma, it makes her upset/stressed/anxious (then harder to care for) Have to keep a professional head on at work and I dont want to offload on DS1 that’s just not fair, he suffers the consequences of DS2’s nonsense enough..
If I’m honest the whole thing with DS2 just makes me embarrassed and ashamed.:o:o
    Thanks for letting me de-steam..

  • Morning all,

MM have a big hug lovey xx
Piggers - what a carry on. I love that you keep your sense of humour throughout though. How's Slinky going, what's your total loss so far?

DS is better :j I put them to bed at 6.15 last night and both slept solidly for 11 hours. Scoffing banana now. I'm off for a shower then will start tackling my list.

Treated myself to a room spray and Reed diffuser for the toilet in Aldi, they smell fab.

    Have fab days all x

    Morning all

Hugs all round, sorry it’s all I can do. Hope they help.
ATB - back in the day when I used to work away most weeks, I got fed up with eating out and used to get a sandwich for the evenings and take something that today would probably be on my Toots list to do in the evening. Even paperwork came with me at times, as well as doing things like brushing up on French vocabulary (strange but true!!). I don’t know if that helps any. X
Busy day yesterday and a full day out of the house today. It looks like the wallpaper will have to wait until the weekend to come off now.

    Have a good day everyone.

Hugs to all of you that need it.

Not working today but the day is already looking very busy. Beautician 's this morning for legs and eyebrows. Someone coming to quote for garden work late morning and then others coming early afternoon to quote for bathroom. House is reasonable tidy but needs a good clean. Also have some paperwork that needs doing but I keep ignoring it and the task is getting bigger. Might actually start some of it as it's easy to leave on the desk when folks arrive to quote. Floors might have to wait.

    So far:
    Bed folded back
    Dirty clothes in laundry
Windows open in bed & bathroom.
Washing up away & kitchen tidy. OH did DW
    Timesheets updated with yesterday's hours

Time for coffee and then will sort a load for WM

See you all latere, have a nice day
