  • Morning all,

DS was vomiting at 3am so he's off school today. Fortunately I'm not working, and it does mean the bathroom has had a thorough scrub!

DW and WM on now. DD is ready for school, a friend will sit with DS whilst I take her. DH home tomorrow, he went to the pub again last night, I think he needs to find something else to do on an evening, he's bored and hates working away so I know a couple of pints helps him block that out, not uncommon in folk working away I gather. I will have a chat to him this weekend.

I'll nip to the market whilst I'm out, and really want to go to Aldi and stock up on store cupboard bits, I'm not doom and gloom about B****t but want to have extra bits in just in case prices do rise for a spell.

Right better make the bed and dry my hair xx

Morning all. I've got some washing doing and I'm hoping to peg it out again. We've got to go to DD1's to help her get eye drops in the dog! He's a wriggly worm.

I'm going to vacuum now because I didn't do it yesterday, although I did clean the bathroom and toilet instead.

I've been missing lamewolf too - I hope she's just busy with dogs :)

So I haven't hoovered through but when shopping I bought some wool so rest of day off will now be knitting.

Not the specials from Ald1? I gave in and bought some; they had some lovely colours.

    Another one playing catchup here.
    - went to GP to pick up the report from Tuesday's shoulder scan. Fairly disheartening reading, but will see what the consultant says next week.
    - arranged MIL's birthday flowers in a vase. We're going out for a meal this eve.
    - 2 lots of washing on line as it was wildly windy overnight and looked deceptively sunny and windy this morning - but it is a very biting cold wind.
    - cleaned and tidied lounge.
    - vacuumed hall, stairs, lounge and kitchen.
    - sent a few necessary emails
    - washed up
    - tidied and cleaned a few kitchen surfaces.
    - filled bird feeders
    - emptied all bins in house
    - emptied compost

BIL and Mr N have gone round to see MIL now, so I'm meant to be getting on with report writing but am currently arguing with my printer/scanner.
