That wind is actually whistling round the house!

    In my HHC I:
    set the timer
put a bowl of pots to soak
    emptied WM
    reloaded WM and set swishing
draped wet washing on airer and radiators
took pile of clean towels up
    changed towels in bathroom
brought dirty towels down and added to Mount Washmore
    DUPA first bowl of pots
    WUDUPA second bowl of pots
reloaded the bowl with pots (the end is in sight :T)
recycled a can - mysteriously appeared in kitchen after DS had been down
    beeep :D

    Lunch next methinks

Had to pop out on quick errand with DH, but I have swept the hard floors downstairs.

Lunch now then another dog walk if they're keen.

Mised the challenge but I was in

I have stripped my bed and DS's bed
    DS's duvet cover in machine
Tea towels brought in, ironed along with a couple of other bits; maiden in front of sunny window.
Brought my duvet cover down - will go in shortly
    Emptied DW
Put pots in sink to soak (plastic)
    Taken recycling out
Cleaned DS's bedroom window, frame and sill
    Now having a coffee
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

The dogs weren't keen for a walk. They waited while I put on all my layers, then laid down on the front path once we stepped outside.

I'm now hibernating for the rest of the day.

Well, I hung the washing out as several weather sites said no rain until 4pm. Extra pegs and everything. Then we went to DD1's to dog sit. At about 1pm the heavens opened. Got home and brought the washing back in and draped it about. Grrr.

Up to date on DW.. but laundry is backed up until about.. Thursday!! lol

OH taken the naughties to the park to give them a blow and hopefully run off some craziness.

I took Squeak to get her glasses fixed.. she caught them in her hair and ripped the arm off yesterday... ooh.. they went out and none of them have had their hair brushed.. oh well, they have hats on! They are going in the bath when they get home.

Swimming was cancelled due to the heaters being broken .. don't think they would like swimming in icy water.

I need to get so many millions of things done and I just really want to sit here and enjoy the peace.. alas that cannot be done so I shall finish clearing the sofa in the back room and then paint the kitchen.. I've been meaning to paint it for about 5 years and never got it done.

I have a painful seixed muscle in my left shoulder which is making things very difficult.. it has only been better for about a week since I last had it which resulted in a 3 day migraine.. I'm hoping very much this time it eases quicker and without the migraine! I guess they could have been unrelated and coincidental.

    WMx3 done
    TD x2
    DW x3

I will reshuffle laundry before sorting the sofa. My house is so messy and cluttered and dishevelled.

Oh.. I just got £2000 in PPI back from ONE company! And £1000 from tax people and its looking like tax office owe me a further £225.. That is all being invested into the house.. that should be enough to have a little shower room/downstairs loo fitted and those I need very very much.

I am trying to find some vintage orange/brown curtains with bold designs for my back room.. 90wx72d at least.. so if anyone sees any on their travels around the charity shops do grab them for me! Thanks!!

Best shift.. anyone care to join me?

Pigpen great news on your PPI. Hope the shoulder recovers.
You have all done so much this week, lots of pats on the back due.
MIL's 90th meal out was a success, and BIL stayed overnight then most of the next day which was nice when he was with us, and also good for MIL when 'her boys' could both visit her again. She is so much brighter after a good meal and various people to chat with; such a shame she is so antisocial regarding a day centre/coffee with other flat tenants in their communal area etc.
    Working down my list:
    - bird food ordered (3% off with topcashback yippee). A bit of mathematical gymnastics as we got a 15% off code from RSPB after the bird count, but their food is so much more expensive than the usual place we get it from even after the discount.
    - party invitation replied to
    - cancelled support plan for laptop I bought in Nov; I was meant to get a month free then cancel it but I forgot.
    - answered lots of inane questions to get car insurance quote. More admin I'd forgotten to check - seems our "new" car (bought nearly 2yrs ago) came with an 'accident plan' i.e. the things you pay extra for on insurance, like legal assist and car hire. Duh. Mr N rang the insurance, moaned at the price and we ended up paying about £3 more than last year instead of the nearly £90 they asked for. Apparently despite having protected no claims, the collision with the deer in October was responsible for an increase.
    - started doing quotes for travel insurance and their prices are ridiculous; we can't work out why. It isn't due till March so will leave it as more important things to do.
    - a load of computer gibble deleted.
    - 2 loads washing done (actually Mr N did that)
    - went for a run, boy is that wind cold
    - wrote most of a report.

Now progressing through our seemingly endless medical checks (feeling old): I've had my shoulder scan, collected the report, had the hearing screener and booked a full check; the shoulder consultant is on Thurs and dentist the week after. Mr N has had an eye test and been referred; booked his echocardiogram check from his valve replacement years ago.
Hope things are going well for Mr Ionafan and anyone else waiting for medical stuff.
