Jojo, I know what I would do, one easy phone call.

Piggers your plaster is taking a long time to dry out, are you sure it was mixed in the correct ratio's? as it sounds like too much water was used. Annoying when you want to get on with your project

Just got off my arris, and had a mad 20 mins...............

JoJo hard to do, but I hope I'm with Kaz on this one. There are enough people genuinely struggling and in need, without the limited resources going ....astray. However great their need is.

Froddington hugs, it is very hard and bound to take its toll mentally which translates to physically especially if you aren't sleeping well through "thoughts going round and round" (euphemism for worrying). MIL had the community nurse round for a review recently (Mr N was there) and sadly she couldn't answer many of the questions like what day it was, what her address was, what month comes next. Getting her to eat properly is a huge problem; we know she has one decent meal a day as she either comes here or Mr N goes round and cooks it with/for her. Her mental state noticeably deteriorates if she hasn't eaten/drunk recently.

Today was limited flying although not much needed:
    - put away some dry clothes
    - washed up
    - wiped a few kitchen appliances
    - finished, checked and emailed a report
    - had my drum lesson
    - went to a talk at the village local history club as it was given by a friend from church, about her role as a Water Chaplain
    - booked a holiday with my mum
    - cleared some of the flagged emails from my huge task list
    - got out the paperwork ready to organise for some training I'm delivering on Wed
    - printed off paperwork for next week's student
Huh that looks a pathetic amount.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Even easier by the internet.

Seems appropriate, considering his history of making malicious reports to all and sundry (such as Police, Social Services, the RSPCA, benefits fraud (when no benefits are being claimed, so that was a waste of time) incorrectly guessed landlords (another waste of time), employers and professional bodies about any female that happens to cross him. And threats to contact partners/friends with further allegations. The difference is that he is clearly committing fraud/a criminal offence, whereas his previous targets haven't and the relevant bodies shouldn't find it particularly difficult to find evidence of it.

The boiler has sprung two leaks and the 'emergency two hour' service has been 12 hours so far. Himself made the call. I don't want to assume that he's not been assertive enough of the problems, but seriously? 12 hours with multiple leaks that can't be stopped?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Piggers, we had plastering done in october, it took until late December too dry properly. It is just the uk weather.

I am gearing up for some super flying tomorrow.

    1) organise cellar
    2) blitz kitchen
    2) be able to get into bed tomorrow night.

That may seem like a short list, but every job on it is HUGE!!!!

I didn't fly at all yesterday, but today is another day.

Off to a good start this morning as so far:

    DW loaded and put on
Draining board cleared of weekend stuff
    WU done (left to dry)
    Rubbish and recycling taken out
    Kitchen table and surfaces wiped
    Showered & dressed
Dirty clothes in washing basket (I'm trying to make this a habit)
    Bed folded back

Now off to hang a pair of curtains back up in the living room,I washed 2 pairs over the weekend so only 3 pairs left to do but I need OH to get them down.

    And then more coffee!

    Hugs to all
  • Mornin’
Jojo I’d ring them up asap and explain the situation, I fear that your OH hasn’t given them the real sense of what’s happening.
ATB Glad your happy with how the exam went, boo hiss to AF, sending a few positive vibes your way!
Piggers Sending ‘strong winds’ vibes to dry out that plaster.. nothing worse than having things to do & being held up by a niggle..

Feelin a little sloth like this am.. been awake since 6am thanks to DS2’s beautiful twinkly alarm noise.. shame he doesn’t wake/get up to it:mad: Mine went of 6.30..:( (he’s now changed the time to 6.40, when he does actually wake!)

    Dishes packed away
    WM
    DS2 dropped to bus
Charity shop bags in car ready to go.
    Toast n jam/coffee being decluttered:D

Have to go and book in my car for a service/MOT:eek: Hoping She’ll be a good girl as normal.. Need to get windscreen replaced as I we have much more cold weather I think it’ll crack (2 large chips on passenger side) :o

Seeing Ma today, so will be Flying at hers (to a degree):A

Sending hugs, vibes, spoons, sticks and anything I possibly have spare ;)

If everybody said No! to bullying and benefit fraud, the world would be a better place.

(((Hugs))) and spoons to atb and froddy. Glad your exam went well, atb.

Yesterday evening I scrubbed my oven shelves for the second time and put them back in to soak. This morning I have scrubbed them for the third and final time, and they are now very shiny :D And I have tidied the utility :D

I also completed an admin job that was getting urgent :) and then sat for an hour and finished transferring phone numbers from my old phone to my new one - it's only taken me 2 months! :D

    Today:
    - S&S kitchen and bathroom (token flying!)
    - SW weigh-in, but I've been baking and eating far too many Twinks this week :o
    - visit a bereaved friend
    - Rosie's walk
    - lunch
    - out at an area consultation meeting all afternoon
    - more paper clearance this evening - I can more of the bedspread now than I could a week ago, as the piles diminish :D

I'm beginning to think I'm wasting money on SW each week, as I can rarely stop to the class, and it would be better spent on going to the gym at the horse piddle with DH, once he's had his cardiac procedure which is due any day now. It's a good gym with a "clinic" side and a "health club" side - same equipment, but different levels of monitoring. If only those nice people at Swansea would get a shift on and return his driving licence to DH, he could drive himself to SW!

Need to send a couple of emails and have a shower before we go out... Catch up later - hope everyone has a good day xx

Morning all. I've hung some washing on the radiators, made a cottage pie for dinner and a victoria sponge for tea. In a minute I'm off again with DD2 and DGD4 for a second go at the shops. Round two of biscuitgate ;) I didn't want to say no because I want to be supportive.

    Good morning
I’ve been lurking but not posting. DD is struggling a little with life atm which adds another dimension. Anyway today I have intentions, so I’m trying to stir some action. I’m just having a coffee whilst the towels finish in the wm, bathrooms have been cleaned, rubbish and recycling out. Today’s job is to strip the wallpaper from the spare bedroom walls to kick start the decorating plan. Oh and a new job to the list - figure out how to get heat into DD’s radiator. The allegedly self bleeding valves don’t seem to be living up to their name. Y0utube here I come.

Have a good day all. Hugs where needed, especially to Frodders. X
