    I really wish I could do without my car. Sadly I can't. I currently spend around £250 a month in petrol just getting to work and back (ave price round here about 108.9, although I managed to get it for 106.9 the other day). Sadly there isn't a sensible alternative - I've tried and the train isn't actually any cheaper (and a LOT less convenient) - buses are a no no round here as well. Unfortunately I bought my car at a time when money wasn't so tight, so it's not the most efficient, but I can't afford to do anything about that at the moment. Roll on 12 months time!

    There is a program this evening to discuss the rising grain prices - there is no shortage - it's just more expensive. :confused:
