I remember when fuel went up to a £1 a litre previously and the haulage companies were up in arms ! Now the silence is deadly from that quarter
Have they had a secret subsidy or something ?!

I used to manage a Shell Garage and the most profit was made on Chocolate and drinks etc, petrol is just what people came for. Its the government you need to upset not petrol stations!
We have a company car we pay our own fuel but seeing as we don't have upkeep, taxing and insurance we can take the petrol price hit. But I agree we are probably where we were a year ago so huge hike in prices.0 -

1 is a BMW powered diesel and Bio is a No - NO
The other is a Rover 600 with a 1980's vintage Perkins engine, 100% Bio no problem provided its not too cold
Anyone thinking of using Bio should consult their manufacturers data first, for some it voids the warranty, for others it just wont start because the flash point of Bio is too high for the glow plugs fitted
Oh and make sure that you have a receipt showing that duty has been paid. When the authorities notice your car smells like a burger van they immediately assume that you have been putting domestic veggie oil in[strike]Debt @ LBM 04/07 £14,804[/strike]01/08 [strike]£10,472[/strike]now debt free:j
