OMG is it friday.
I said I was gonna be in this week but havent even had time to read the threads at work! Hope everyone else is having a good week with not too many troubles. Have managed the dailies - Just - but thats it.
Monday ended up having to get everything ready for Tuesday as OH was going down to pick up new car and I was working late - 10 hours !!
Tuesday by the time we got tea it was gone 8 o clock so it was a quick clear up before bed.
Wednesday and Thursday I went to bed once tea was done as felt like carp
and todays Friday  .
But there is good news.
We finally got another car and its awesome, another Saab, 1 owner, fairly low miles, decent price. It drives like a dream its soooo smooth and has amazing acceleration (260bhp for those who like their figures) so no doubt he wont let me have it very often!
Lloydstsb have at last refunded my PPI insurance into my bank account (so thats the car paid for) and I have spent most of the week sending more reclaim letters so fingers crossed.
Oh and I also tonight have managed to get a combined quote for our buildings and contents insurance that is £600 per year cheaper than our 2 separate new quotes. Turning into a right moneysaver me.
So I promise to spend some time this weekend actually doing some flying.
Hope you all have a good one

**Sprays disinfectant on Pigpen** ewwwww **Sprays some everyone elses way too***
You're all full of ickiness, yak, I don't want any germs here, if I wake up with as much as a sniffle I am blaming Pigpen!
Vanilla, hope your little DD is better soon, oh bless her little cottons, good luck with the middle of the night laundry, I hate having to do that.
Kaz well done with the PPIdid you remember to check quidco for cashback on the insurance? sounds like a great motor, I like Saabs, high torque usually aswell giving the better acceleration, 2.3 aero? 0-60 in the manual is under 7 seconds
is it the one with the 'superboost' aswell
I like my big cars, downside is the fuel they use
our Volvo is a 2.3 T5 and it eats it for breakfast hence I use my slow Zafira more now
still costing me a lot at over £1 a litre.
Darks load can wait until morning, I've done the whites but out of hanging space...trying to save on electric and only use TD when I have to. Must add on tomorrows list to change boys lights to energy saving bulbs, landing too, just gone upstairs and switched 4 blinkin lights out!!!One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

Yep its the 2.3 HOT Aero but an automatic so 0 - 60 is 7. something seconds :rotfl: but it has got the Sport mode button as well, darent put my foot down this morning as it was too icy so couldnt try it out. Are you allowed to be in love with a car

Gosh I feel lazy tonight, I've not even put the dishes from dinner in the dishwasher yet (starting to get to me a little that only the 6 year old has figured how to put his own in!!) suppose I should do it before I go to bed or I will be cursing myself in the morning.
Just been looking at the Quidco cup thing you mentioned pigpen, wish my insurances etc had been due now, over £250 in October! I could still join I suppose, PM me the info and I will have a go.One day I might be more organised...........

Night all hope the little ones sleep for everybody.
Vanilla hugs to you and yours - hope you did not get around to changing kids beds earlier in the day.
Just spend the evening in front of the fire sorting through a whole pile of mags (the ones you get in shops/posted), now all in the recylcing minus the address which I burnt.
Weekend job for the family here is to move seasoned logs from back to front and replace with new load. Rake masses of leaves and put in the recycling bin for this week's collection. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Night night Dusty, sleep well
Think I best get sorted in the kitchen (dishwasher filled, milk bottles rinsed & out) then get off to bed myself, DP won't be in until about 5am then I have to get him up at 10.30am so will need some sleep myself to be patient enough to put up with the mood he'll wake up in. Remembered I need to travel over to the petshop aswell for Woody and Sonic's foods. One day I might be more organised...........

Morning
Hope all the sickies are feeling better today x
Woke up at 6.15, what the heck I'm doing waking up at that time on a Saturday for I don't know, I know finding a job ASAP is playing on my mind a bit so maybe it's thatBoth the kids slept out last night so nothing much needs doing except loading the DW with last nights tea things - one day I'll get round to doing them after tea - or maybe not! I kinda switch off all housework stuff after tea-time it just comes naturally
Haven't decided what I'm doing today so will post a list later. This colds' still lingering about too, I'm all chesty and snotty but don't feel poorly which is a bonus.
Gonna go and do a job search now, laters x0 -
Morning embb, I'm up too. Just finished my shift, back in this afternoon at 2pm! But it's an extra shift I've asked for. No point going to bed, I need to nip to the pet shop, completely out of dog food, and my bottle of Asbach has been delivered to the shop, so need to pick it up.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Morning All
So far WM x 1 and most of the dishes have been done!
Need to go and get my Grandad a birthday present today as it's his birthday on Wednesday. Any ideas any one? Everything I've come up with has drawn a blank.
Thought I might get a bit of Christmas shopping done at the same time seeing as my brother and his partner have finally decided what they want for Christmas.
Now should i go and do some ironing or do some general tidying up and sorting?
DH is still in bed so can't really do anything upstairs.
Hope everyone has a good day and all poorly ones are feeling better.
Pleased I wasn't online when pigpen was sneezing over everybody!
Hugs to all

Morning, been up since 7 cos hubby lost his keys and turned all the lights on in the house to find them:mad:
They were down the side of the sofa, is that not the first place you should look
Still feeling absolutely disgusting, but need to work tonight. Cant justify playing tomorrow if i've just had 2 days off work sick:o Though my mum doesnt think running about in the freezing cold for 80 minutes is good for you if you're ill
((Hugs)) to all the other sickies
Will get a little flying done today before dropping DD off at MIL. I love saturdays even though i have to work, i also get my only long lieof the week on a sunday:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
