  • Thought i would see where i am with this weeks list of things, and think about what i need to do over the weekend. Haven't read all the posts yet. Might not even be able to stay on the computer long enough to do that tonight as it is freezing!!!!

    Jobs to do this week:
    1) write charlie's birthday thank yous and deliver/post
    2) [strike]pay nursery bill by cheque[/strike]
    3) [strike]give charlie's too small shoes to my mate for her boy as charlie must have been standing in manure again. Best to get rid of that clutter and do a friend a favour.[/strike]
    4) mark y9 test and homework
    5) write a homework sheet for y11 for tuesday
    6) [strike]post off rental DVD and shopping survey[/strike]
    7) put y7 and y9 test data on the computer
    8) make phone call about car insurance and take out the policy
    9) finish filling in the child tax credits application form.
    10) [STRIKE]order some xmas presents online and some more maternity clothes. [/STRIKE]
    11) [STRIKE]iron clothes for work for the week [/STRIKE][strike]and for charlie[/strike] one hour done
    12) [strike]wash a load of charlie's coloured stuff[/strike]
    13) [STRIKE]fill in application for cover for the 2 days i want off this term[/STRIKE]
    14) wash charlie's wet bedding
15)[STRIKE] prepare for 2nd meeting with the union on wednesday[/STRIKE]

    Job for DH:
    1) [STRIKE]investigate buying a new car for me. Very good offer of a friend of FILs car has come up and we definitely need to upgrade, just weren't thinking this month. has took the buggy with him to see how well it fits in the boot[/STRIKE]
    2) [STRIKE]investigate selling my car[/STRIKE]

basically then, not that much further than the other day in terms of this list but getting there otherwise.

    for the weekend then:
    • find out old payslips to work out when i was last paid my management allowance,
    • find P60 and fill in rest of child tax credit form
    • find out registration of new car and find an insurance quote for it
    • transfer money from savings account into our current account so we can pay for the car next week
    • go to the dreaded meadowhall and tackle some more of the dreaded present shopping
    • write down all the stuff in my head into lists so i feel more in control
    • order xmas food stuff from bettys by post and sort delivery date
    • mark y9 books
    • iron all of mine and charlie's stuff for the week
    • strip/wash/remake all beds
    • go to boots to buy toiletries we have run out of (particularly mouthwash and facial scrub) using pigsback vouchers
    • watch rental DVD and post it back
    • supermarket shop
    • clean bathroom
    • hoover through
    • wash the curtain for the hall door
    • wash my work stuff
    • take my car through to show to guy who is interested in buying it.
plus anything else i think of as i am going along

Right done my first attempt at a weekend list, hopefully it'll be ok. D&DD as always the lists aren't a must do, just some asked for weekend lists previously, I tend to use them for family days but will be trying to 'blend in' a few of the extras I just posted. Based a few on things I have noticed over the week like the box I haven't sorted through that I threw on the wardrobe when we moved in 3 weeks ago, that when I moved the PC today there is a little dust build up already, oh and that nightmare when I found the children's holidays forms.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • bless you, although can you not spit next time as i don't want any germs.

feeling rather sicky again this evening, although DH is as well, and hasa already gone up to bed, so i am hoping it isn't the dreaded vomiting bug again as i don't want to feel pants all weekend.

thought you were pubbing it tonight????

chocaholic i noticed in your signature you are off for a 4D scan. Please let me know if you think it is worth it as i really want to have one done this time but the 180 quid charge is putting me off cos i am tight. Although i am thinking i may stick to two kiddies listening to all the washing stories, so it will probably be do it now or never.

Well, going to go and jump in bed too, and see if some sleep will chase the bugs away.

See you bright and early tomorrow
    Michelle, xx

Oh Crap DD came up from bed to tell me her bed is all covered in sick and she is so white, now siting in front of tv with basin on her knee and sheets in the wash. Hope it's just a one off, was hoping the bug had left our house.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
