    Budgets updated to here

Welcome to all new members and returning!

Somewhat shamefully my budget for February is actually £360. I have somehow spent a fortune so far. Yes, admittedly I've stocked up on EVERYTHING as I'd run down a lot of basics, like tins, sauces etc and I've been careful to restock only the things I use instead of all the miscellaneous extras, but still, feeling a bit out of control.

I have £67,69 left for the month with 3 main shops to come out of that. Do-able, just need to try and be disciplined.

Trying to declutter at the moment too and my house is messier than ever as I'm pulling stuff out. Feel a bit overwhelmed!

Hi can I join please £200 for my month starting on 1 February. Spent £59.70 so far.
  • £48.20 home delivery from Mr T yesterday. I have to pop out tomorrow and I need a couple more bits I forgot to order but that should then do me until Friday when I go to the village shops. I like to buy local as it supports the community and local business. I possibly won't need anything then until the following Friday.

    Will update sig now.

£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am
    20,000 step a day challenge
  • Spent £84.81 this weekend. £56.56 in A!di and the rest popping to the local shop. It is these little trips to the shop that I need to stop. Trying to do a meal plan for this week but everyone is always all over the place, it makes it a nightmare.

£495.19 to go. Definitely do-able but I need to make sure that I don't go downhill, especially in half term when we are all off school...

    Have a good day xx

Well I've so far spent 173.30 this month between MrM, MrT and MrL. We're well stocked up now so going to try and keep spending to a minimum for the rest of the month....well apart from buying formula!

Hi all, glad to be in the shortest month of the year. Could you put me down for £400 as usual please.
Still got quite a bit in the freezer and cupboards. Going to try to have a use it all up month, especially as I have a few random packets of things.
Missed doing my meal plan last night, so going to quickly work out one this evening.
I've been quite lucky with the bargains at a local c*-*p a few times recently, so going to make it a regular stop on my way past and see if I can keep the budget low by buying more reduced products.

  • Yesterday I went shopping for the last bits I needed. I will go to the village shops on Friday as I prefer a proper butcher and greengrocer but in truth I'm well stocked.

    Yesterdays spends were:

    Home Bargains £7.35
    Mr A £52.23
    Savers £4.92

Total £64.50 was more than I intended to spend, however, I have stocked up on stuff that will now see me to the end of month if not longer. I also bought a huge tray of dog food that will last at least two weeks that was on offer. I will shop Friday which should be less than £15 then I won't need anything at all until the following Friday. I should now be set for just small spends for the rest of the month and should (she says with fingers tightly crossed) be in on budget or less.
