OK, theyre takING this to court, in so far as there is no reason to think the claimant will discontinue. They have no history of doing so.

Is there any way of knowing if they filed and paid fees by the 18th of Jan as stated? They sent me the docs on the 23rd Jan?

Also, some of the documents in the witness statement is not very clear - is it worth making a point out of that? The directions to state they will need to bring the originals to court.

Also, would appreciate a sample witness statement of a similar case to mine. I want to get the WS written and sent to court asap.

You would be wise to obliterate the Claim Number and Reference Number from that image.

They uniquely identify you and your case.
