I give up. If you're not going to provide full quotations then you're not going to get answers - least not from me
Others may keep trying to give you answers.0 -
Still you don't understand I have shared access at the [side] of my drive on my deeds
But do you? Until you quote the relevant parts in your title deeds (as G_M has asked you to do numerous times) we cannot be sure.On both deeds the area where van is states a DRIViEWAY not a drive there's a difference the house has been sold as with a driveway never as a drive twice sold
Is there really a difference? I use drive/driveway to mean the same thing. And the estate agents probably also use drive and driveway to mean the same thing.Deeds state both property's have to jointly maintain blue hatch area
Can't say any more now
So it just mentions maintenance then, not access?0 -
Yes there is a difference drive is allowing a vehicle to be stationary on it
Driveway is land leading up to ie drive house etc
On both deeds it never says drive or driveway is states Access way
Your saying an accessway is a drive to park vehicle onThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Why would my deeds state I'm liable to costs/repairs to area which is nothing to do with me I find that strange the blue area on my deeds state that in writing that's it just read what I've put that's all and have a opinionThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. I don't know where you learned English, but I've never heard of there being a generally-accepted distinction in British English between "drive" and "driveway". Go look at a dictionary if you don't believe us.Yes there is a difference drive is allowing a vehicle to be stationary on it
Driveway is land leading up to ie drive house etc0 -
Please provide your source for this legal definition.Yes there is a difference drive is allowing a vehicle to be stationary on it
Driveway is land leading up to ie drive house etc
On both deeds it never says drive or driveway is states Access way
Your saying an accessway is a drive to park vehicle on
I've never come across this.0 -
Until you quote what the Deeds say in full, it is pointless answering generic questions like this. Why would my deeds state I'm liable to costs/repairs to area which is nothing to do with me I find that strange the blue area on my deeds state that in writing that's it just read what I've put that's all and have a opinion
What you find 'strange' is irrelevant.
The only thing that matters is the precise words in the Deeds which you seem unwilling, or unable, to quote. I'm thinking troll.0 -
It is a bit odd that the blue hatched areas don't match, but it doesn't give you any extra rights. On my deeds regardless of access to my drive (garden) it states I'm liable to any costs of blue hatched area why put this in if a neighbour can put a vehicle on this area I find strange
Unless there is something on his deeds stopping him from parking where he is parking, then you can't do anything.
How many cars do you actually have?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
Finally yes it's odd thats my point my deeds dated before my neighbours state I have access over that area but on his deeds dated after mine that area is soly his to do what ever remember it isn't a drive its a accessway there is a difference if you look the two words up
I have 3 cars house was sold as having drive for several cars difficult when vans there neighbors house has never been sold as having a drive to park a vehicleThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
This is the kind of thread that shows what a patient lot all of you regulars are.
Anyone who complains that people aren't helpful could learn a lot from this. I think it's probably the most confusing thread for a long time and yet you are all patiently trying to figure it out and help.
This is why I love using MSE.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...
