But still if my deeds where dated before my neighbours stating no parking in blue area regarding if my drive was a garden previously it should stand why does it become shared on my deeds that's saying if he damages it where he is parking his van I could be liable to costs of repair accordingly to my deedsThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. The driveway is Not my neighbours it is joint responsibility on both sets of deeds it where it starts from the blue is for both of us to look after on my deeds
2 bed houses on this estate access park vehicles at the side of propertys out of 10
3 Park at the front because there have put extensions up and have the room no front gardens
Why this 1 different no room or extensionThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

To be honest with you, I think the reason the blue hatches are different is because you need access to a different area of the drive than he does.
Your blue hatch is to make sure you don't block his drive. The shorter blue hatch on his is to make sure you have room to turn on.
I think you are being a bit unreasonable expecting to be able to leave your garden sideways on to the share drive. I would expect your house to drive out the end of the garden and onto the shared driveway where your other neighbours house is.
As long as your neighbour is staying out of the smaller blue hatch area on his deeds, I don't think he's going anything wrong.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -

This was my assessment of the situation using the comparison of the deeds and google maps. You can see on the deeds where the parking space for the OP's house was located. It was at the end of the shared access. It looks as if at sometime before the OP bought the house an ex owner paved over the lawned garden at the front of the house to make more offstreet parking so there has never been a right of access off the paved area. Only from the original parking space.
It is a good example of thinking you are buying something that you aren't. I also think that the blue area is supposed to be different on each deed plan. I don't see why they have to be the same?
In any case the OP bought the house with these access restrictions.0 -
You have still not answered the important questions!
The red outline shows what you own I imagine. But you need to confirm this BY QUOTING THE WORDS IN YOUR TITLE DOCUMENT.The driveway is Not my neighbours it is joint responsibility on both sets of deeds it where it starts from the blue is for both of us to look after on my deeds
2 bed houses on this estate access park vehicles at the side of propertys out of 10

Similarly the red outline in the neignbour's Plan shows what he owns I imagine. But you need to confirm this BY QUOTING THE WORDS IN YOUR TITLE DOCUMENT.
The Blue in your Plan (I assume - you need to confirm) shows either what access rights you have over his land and/or maintenance responsibilty. But you need to confirm this BY QUOTING THE WORDS IN YOUR TITLE DOCUMENT.
The Blue in his Plan (I assume - you need to confirm) shows either what access rights he has over your land and/or maintenance responsibilty. But you need to confirm this BY QUOTING THE WORDS IN HIS TITLE DOCUMENT.
That is why the blue areas are different- they show different rights.
But until you QUOTE PROPERLY, we can only guess.0 -
Still you don't understand I have shared access at the [side] of my drive on my deeds
On both deeds the area where van is states a DRIViEWAY not a drive there's a difference the house has been sold as with a driveway never as a drive twice sold
Deeds state both property's have to jointly maintain blue hatch area
