    Morning!

Had a better night, despite the noisy students across the road. They had some kind of party until 11 pm, then took cabs somewhere and came back loudly from 2 am onwards. One was locked out and, presumably very drunk, was crying on the doorstep- at 3 am.

This is the first year I have not gone to the Remembrance Service or watched the Cenotaph Parade on TV, but I am doing my own silence.

Shall have a good sort out and tidy up this afternoon in our bedroom. I would call it a 'hotspot' but that would be false advertising!

Ooh, nearly time to remember Uncle Fred who lied about his age (he was only 14) and was in a PoW camp in WW1.

    Hugs to all.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

    Good morning everyone,

Been up for ages, but im still sat here in my pjs!!!

Dinner is almost done, basically i only had to cook the meat, as i have everything else ready cooked and frozen from previous roast dinners, so just need to heat it up in a mo.

Ive done all my clicks, caught up with all the comps and now i need to do some housework - lovely!!!

Luckily, the forums went down for 2 minutes, as i didnt notice the time as BBC2 didnt do a silence, so i was able to turn over and see the rememberance on BBC1 instead.

Nothing much exciting happening (as usual) but DD has a party to goto later and we dont have a pressie or card, so we will pop to Asda/Tesco beforehand as i could do with picking up a few bits as well as the pressie - can also get some petrol while we are out, cos we are running on fumes at the mo. If i time it right im hoping to find some yellow stickered items, as im running out of things in the freezer, and i do hate paying full price!!

Aussie - hope you will be feeling better soon xx

Haribo - thanks for the updates, sending more hugs to Pink and DS, i hope things are improving now he is hospital xxx

((HUGS)) to anyone who would like/needs one

    Have a lovely Sunday everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Morning All

    Send Pink our love Haribo
    Congrats on the egg PP

Having a quick break from ironing but will be back to it in a min. House is lovely and quiet as OH taken DS footie and DD is still at a sleepover.

Just about to find some room on the rads to put out the washing. Sitting down is still uncomfortable at the mo so ironing is my best option. Will be lovely to have a empty basket but I know dd will bring loads back from her sleepover.

    Have a great Sunday.

    Morning All

I am rather fed up with my strong willed little madam for a change. She has got a runny nose again (where does she get them from). Last night she slept for an hour and then was up for 4hrs this morning we have had numerous tantrums because she can't get her own way. I suppose I would be worried if she was a doormat but sometimes I`just wish we could get her to do something without a paddy. Thats enough of my moaning I know people have much worse problems than me.

OS wise I've got a pile of ironing to do and I need to make some kind of pudding to my MIL this afternoon. It'll proberbly be the ingredients for Thiftyladys choc fudge pud which I put togerther when we get there.

    Have a good day everyone

  • Good morning all!

Very behind today.:o I was late up anyway, then when I went to bed I couldn't get to sleep, something about 2 am was running round my brain:confused: (Just something someone said;) )

Anyway (((((hugs))))) to the poorly ones, especially Aussie and Master Pink.

Haribo, please keep us up to date with the news as you're able to. I'm sure everyone is most concerned for you all. Such a worry when children are ill, even if they are huge for their age:D (and have their Auntie H's stoicism:rolleyes: )

FRUGALPIE sympathy on the loss of your Nan (((hugs)))

Sorry not to mention more of you, I need to rush a bit now. DS3 has just rung to say he and GF are coming back here to stay the night. I'd planned on bits and pieces to eat today, now rethinking, so going to run out and get a joint to roast. She's a lovely girl and so enjoys when i do a roast for them, but bang goes my lazy day:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Bye for now,
    CMxx

  • Good morning everyone. Had an early night and slept for 10 hours - feel so much better now!

Pink and Haribo - huge hugs for you. Hope DS1 feels better soon. He's still your baby, however big he gets ;)

Pen Pin - want to swap hens - ours are about 6 weeks older than yours and we still have no eggs  :p;)

Frugalpie and Mrs F - condolonces to you and your families.

Shez - have a great time at the concert - what will you be playing

Catowen - hope you get your ebay account sorted.

The Small Penguins went to church with scouts and guides. DS was flag bearer and looked very smart. He lost a tooth this morning and has another loose. He was planning to wiggle it in the service. He did the same last year and pulled it out in church

Have a great day, Penny. x
