Roundtuit, hugs I went through the same yesterday, the crem was packed, but it was what he would have wanted.
The flowers I did for the coffin, looked good, plain and simple
Thank you Kaz xx The crem was packed yesterday too - it was a lovely service, a real celebration of his life. He was a 'character'I'm hoping the message that came across will have got through to Dad - it was very positive.
Afternoon - definitely not inclined to add the Good, as it’s been a totally rubbish day at work. I’m going to have to try to get in on a day off next week to catch-up the absolute essentials. Who stole January from me, is what I want to know.
NattyHugs to Kaz and Round for a difficult couple of days. X
Thank you Natty xxYORKSHIRELASS wrote: »Its been a bit of a week - not feeling too great because Thyroid levels are all wrong again so my medication is now increased. Feeling tired, anxious and generally bleugh is not good at the minute.

Honey Bear - I bullet journal but it's minimalistic. Notebook and pen. Dot = to do, cross = done. It saves me having bits of paper and reminders everywhere. My bujo goes where I go and keeps me organised - when I remember to use itI have my birthday lists and Christmas lists in there, everything is in there. At the end of the day it's what works for you. I love to see the arty journals - and I admit I've bought coloured pens, but I'm yet to use them. I can't draw for toffee: the ideas in my head don't seem to want to come out of my fingers. Most frustrating. I write poetry instead.
xx
I called at Mr C00p on the way home from work and bought pack up bits for today, then called at the chippy for my teaBrought in the other bin - that was it last night.
I'll call to see Dad after work tonight and let the weekend begin :T
I can feel a few hhcs brewing
But for now it's work. Heigh ho and all that.
Have a good day

Jolly hard to motiviate myself to do the to be honest. All those roundtuit jobs, basically.
We are in this together HB xx (((Hugs)))

Afternoon all,
Thank you for all the thoughts, it's appreciated. Thinking of you all too.
I have flown today: 6238 steps worth of flying, which is impressive as I've only left the house to walk 3 steps to the car take a boot full of stuff to the tip and come home. Here is my 'done' list

Woo-hoo. I was right all along with my suspicions. Go, me.

Apparently, I don't need to tell Himself I can't sort this out by myself. Oh, so I should just keep my mouth shut, then? Having total faith that [strike]having not lifted a single finger to do anything since I spoke to him about it mere days ago[/strike] he has miraculously got over his tendency to have a fit of the vapours at the prospect of working for a living?
Ah, well. It's better knowing for certain. I hated being sure it was coming but being told I was being negative/shouldn't express those views privately at work.
All over, bar the pointless jockeying for new positions that don't exist and trying to not get redeployed somewhere it costs a fortune and several hours to reach in an attempt to avoid paying the Statutory amounts.
[shrug]
I knew this two years ago. Told Himself repeatedly, but nothing. Now there's no way he can ignore it (other than by doing his usual meltdowns).
The house looks pretty neat, though.[strike] Almost as though he's trying to deflect away from things [/strike]... :cool:I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
JoJo so sorry it has been what you expected, it's never a nice feeling even if you go onto better things later, which I'm sure you will.
I've just been plodding along this week doing basics and getting some unexpected uni work; thought all students had disappeared as I had no bookings for this week until Monday, when 1 appeared for Wed then another appeared on Tues for Thurs.
Join you HB for trying to manage my lists, there are a few hints in the current free Tesc0 magazine. Distraction/sidetracking/procrastination is me. However, today I have:
- been for a run (not actually listed but much needed)
- checked stocks and ordered new assessment materials
- paid tax bill, ouch
- booked dentist
- went on web site to book shoulder specialist as the referral came through; however the scan date hasn't come through yet. Rang the GP to see if I should go ahead and she said yes, if the orthopaedist wants another scan he will probably sort it out. Waiting list seems to range from a week if go to North Middx which is about 45mins away to 3 months or so to my nearest hospital. Sooner seems better.
- booked hearing test as I need to find out if I've actually got sensory loss or continued sinus/glue ear problems. Yum.
- continued research for short trip to Amsterdam to see a band.
- 1 load washing done, hung out, brought in.
- one report nearly finished.
- Christmas card list updated; it has been sitting on my desk getting in the way for ages so I decided to use it as a distraction but at least it has cleared a space.
- various minor bits of tidying done.
- bird feeders filled. Fairies made an appearance today, so they are going on my bird list score regardless of whether they turn up tomorrow.
Hugs to all those coping with loss. Mr N's cousin's funeral is on Monday, so BIL coming up to stay with us Sun-Tues.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Jojo you take care of yourself over this time, hugs.
Car was washed by me this afternoon
Bird feeders filled up
GS (two years old) skype with me this afternoon as he wanted tosee me and the cat! his is full of beans and a very chatty 2 yo.
Dinner done and washed up
I'm sure I have done loads of other stuff as well, as I don't seemed to have stopped.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

JoJo I had redundancy hanging over me once and in the end I was one of the "lucky" ones who kept their job. The place was never the same afterwards and the restructuring meant I was expected to do more for the same money. Started to feel that a payout and a fresh start might have been better. But hugs all the same, its not nice. Hope it works out for you.
Not doing great here, but it will pass. At least it's the weekend.0 -
Jojo...still feels !!!! though, doesn't it?
