One of us is going wrong somewhere and I think I don't think it's me. I'm saying a lorry is out working and the driver runs out of time so parks his trailer somewhere ready for loading and drives somewhere to park up. He cant drive 5 hours back to base then take his car home as some want. After his rest he picks his trailer up and carries on with his weeks work.

I've done exactly that lots of times.

Especially at places where they load / unload during the night and they have their own shunters to move trailers about.

Often one returns to pick up a completely different trailer that's waiting.

Me to sometimes you might have enough driving time to go to the shop or pub for food and that's your day done
