I'd recommend the CAB for debt advice if necessary. They may be feeble on the subject of parking charges, but their debt specialists can be excellent.
At any CAB, the debt specialists are qualified and have to be under FCA rules. Any PPC court claim or threat of court claim falls outside the CAB remit (insurance, or funding, or qualification) and has to be referred to a local solicitor. The only exception is where there is an on-site pro-bono solicitor but these are usually for possession/eviction claims (part-funded by Legal Aid)
May explain why PPC's refer these to the CAB.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
CAB are good but boy are they slow if you need debt advice because they are so in demand in some areas0

UPDATE
No response from my SAR letter.
I emailed and posted to them! Should I be worried, should I contact a solicitor at this point?
Thankyou0 -
Companies have 30 days to respond to a SAR.0

Why should you be worried ????? It's the PPC that should be worried by ignoring a SAR ........ ICO and all that
Why contact a solicitor when they are on here for free ???0 -

No bailiff will be turning up before any court case, that's for sure.0

In addition you would be amazed that many debts are not enforced even once a CCJ has been obtained0
