LBBCC £7k

HI, sorry if this isn’t in the correct place, I’m new to threads & tech.

I have ignored parking tickets for ages but recently had Bailiffs show up at my address. I paid them 9K for old parking tickets & for them to go away.

I now have received a Letter before Claim from them again for a further 7K+ - I had to borrow for the 1st payment so I can’t find that.
I have read for forums for beginners and have put this together

NAME, Address & Date.

UK Parking Patrol Office LTD

Please supply the data about me that I am entitled to under data protection law relating to myself.
- ALL photos taken
- A close up of the signs on the days in question
- ALL letters sent and received
- All Notice to keeper sent
- The Pay and display machine record of payments from all PCN days in question
- A list of all PCNs outstanding against any VRN or VRM
- Evidence that you have paid any debt collectors
Any claim must be for all PCNs in one claim, not several separate claims.
All data processing must be placed on hold whilst the SAR information is supplied and for a period afterwards to enable the consumer data subject to read and consider the SAR documents.
If you need any more data from me to confirm my identity please let me know as soon as possible. It may be helpful for you to know that data protection law requires you to respond to a request for data within one calendar month.
If you do not normally deal with these requests, please pass this letter to your Data Protection Officer, or relevant staff member. If you need advice on dealing with this request, the Information Commissioner’s Office can assist you. Its website is ico.org.uk or it can be contacted on 0303 123 1113.
Yours faithfully

Is this the best way forward?
I can only find 1 email for UKPPO.LTD = info@parkingpatrol.co.uk
Is this the correct email address to send it to?
Do I need to add there ref number or my VRM?

You paid them 9k. Oh dear that's a shame as we or other people could have helped stop this.

How you manage to get so many tickets?
  • I started parking there for work in 2012 when it was derelict land. It slowly developed into a tiny industrial area. On a quick search of the internet after my 1st ticket ‘moneysaving expert’ It stated to ignore them, so here we are!!
  • that was the correct info upto nov 2012 , at which point the POFA2012 came into force and thar ignore rule was stopped

1st lot , to late you have paid up

new lot , you are going to have to give a lot more indo , on the letter , how many cases , how much each one , date you got this from court , and a lot more info

you can fight this if you act fast , you can show there 7k claim up as fraud if you act fast
  • £9k all for the sake of not reading the stickies on here....what an expensive error.

Don't pay the scum a single penny of the £7k...but you'll need to so some work for that...starting with reading the stickies.

Do you have an actual defence to this? I think your going to struggle to defend this if I'm honest.
  • i wonder if they could stand the humiliation of loosing in court

OP , you MUST return to his thread the moment you get court papers , if you want help

you need to reply by filling form in correctly , quickly

return here when court papers received

if you can get the dates of the tickets , then you can contact DVLA and check thy have asked for info each and every time , they will not have and that will instantly (with work) kill many K of tickets
  • Hi, should i still send the SAR form as it stand in the meantime? As request the extension/delay until information is received.

Send them a SAR to a generic email - head it up for the attention of the Data Protection Officer and then 'SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST' and attach a scan of your V5C for that car. Unusually, they appear to have no privacy page!

I can't believe you paid them nine grand...

Even if you lost this case in court you'd pay less then £7K. Always worth fighting.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Not too surprising.

They still refer to The Independent Parking Committee and The Data Protection Act 1988. :D
