If Brexit Britain is so wonderful, why don't people want to stay?

If the EU is so wonderful, why is he not taking his operation there?

The woman is an idiot. Can we ship her off to Singapore instead?

    She hasn't a clue.

I can't stand her, but without her Parliament wouldn't have had a say and we'd be leaving on May's deal which it seems nobody wants. I'd say Miller did everyone a huge favour.

Brexiteers go foaming at the mouth at the mere mention of her, so she must be doing something right. :D
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

Oh dear. Sir James' abandonment of the UK seems to have touched rather a raw nerve with some people.

You didn't seem to care back in 2003, when he moved manufacturing.

That involved a lot more jobs than the "2" which are now moving.

You only care now because he has a Brexit view.

    All a bit hollow methinks.

It presumably wasn't as relevant back in 2003 when he moved manufacturing. Now it's relevant and he was one of the most vocal business leavers, saying Leave would be good for UK businesses. Now we're leaving, he's moving his headquarters to a country with a FTA with the EU. It's just a bit hypocritical, no?

Let's be honest a lot of very high profile and vocal Brexiteers have proven to be rather less fixated on patriotism and putting the UK first when it comes to safeguarding their own interests.

Are there any high profile Brexiteers that haven't tried to isolate themselves from the damage of Brexit? Boris?

If the EU is so wonderful, why is he not taking his operation there?

Because they'll make him pay taxes which will pay for schools and hospitals of his European customers, and Sir James has no intention of doing that.

If Dyson moving out is seen as negative, why plenty of companies moving operations to China (out ouf EU) is not seen in same way?

If EU is so good, why companies move factories to China?
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.

Because as Herzlos said, if it wasn't obvious before that, James Dyson was a vocal supporter of Brexit as being the best choice for Britain. If you voted Leave on the strength of his advice you probably didn't expect him to then move his company to a country that's so desperate to appeal to tax dodging billionaires rather than thinking of how to run a proper economy, that it now owes 110% of its GDP trying to fund itself.

It's rather like Rees-Mogg quietly shifting his hedge fund to Ireland because it will be stuffed in a no-deal scenario and then pretending it's no big deal.
