250 companies in talks with the Dutch about moving to Amsterdam from London because of Brexit.

    Great job Brexiters. Great job.

I think that if that were to happen the monarchy would not see out the decade.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

Just think, the tabloid press would likely go bankrupt.

So I'm in favour of this course of action.:money:
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

More on the rank hypocrisy of the Captains of Brexit, now deserting the UK like rats running from a sinking ship.
So why then might James Dyson be so coy? Why would he not admit it if he is shipping out to avoid Brexit, rushing to Singapore, whose trade agreement with the EU, signed in October, could well give Dyson better access to European markets than the company would have if it stuck around in no-deal Brexit Britain?

Whether it’s Nigel Farage taking care to ensure two of his children can live, work and travel freely across the EU by having German passports, or Nigel Lawson, who lives in France, taking the precaution of applying for French residency, the pattern is familiar. It suggests a Brexiteer elite who believe that the pain of Brexit is for the little people. They are rich or powerful or connected enough to be insulated from the damage it will cause, making them free to sound off about its supposed benefits in the abstract – sovereignty! control! – while everyone else deals with the grim reality.

So Dyson and his base will be safe in Singapore, leaving Britain to deal with the consequences of the disastrous decision he demanded. With every day the mess of Brexit is becoming clearer, and it will take more than a high-priced vacuum cleaner to clear it up – no matter how much it sucks.

Quick round up on the champions of the people:
    • Nigel Lawson: Has become French
    • Nigel Farage: Has become German
    • Rees-Mogg: Taken his hedge funds to Ireland and warned his customers of the dangers of a hard Brexit
    • Dyson: Scarpered to Singapore, a country that signed a trade agreement with the EU in October. Maybe he can tell us how they did it on one of his odd trips back here to collect his farm subsidies

You can also move with them exercising your freedom of movement rights.

Just because they are having talks does not mean they will move though. These are paper movements, they can move anywhere in 5 minutes.
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.

    You missed a few :)
    - Sir John Redwood, ardent Brexiteer, advises investors to take their money out of the UK
    - Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Britain's wealthiest man and a key Brexit backer, decides to leave the UK and live in Monaco.

It's going to get ugly when the rats who can't flee the ship start realising they've been sold a dud.
    Nevermind.
    They were warned.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

I'm relatively fortunate in that I could work in any other country, although the upheaval of moving my family would be considerable.

Unlike the Brexiteers though, I actually have some loyalty to the UK and don't want to abandon it at the first sight of trouble.

The non-sequitur of a movement representing the ordinary person, championed by unaccountable millionaire and billionaires, most born into wealth who have no idea what it's like to take a risk that wouldn't be nullified by a phone call to their mum.

For those of us who can't magic up foreign passports out of the air, or decide to check out and spend the rest of our lives looking at thigh gaps on Instagram, the Brexit they've inflicted is a bit more serious.

A classic example of a politician not answering the question. This time an Irish one. (The video appears not to work with Chrome)

Here's an example of a politician who does answer a question on the Irish border and it's caused a furore in Dublin.

No-deal Brexit 'means hard border' - European Commission http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-46961982

The Irish are finally waking up to the fact that the EU are using them as useful idiots.

And we should remain in the EU so all these lovely people will change their mind and grace us with their company once again.

Or do we want them to come back because they're rich and although we hate them, the UK will collapse without them? But they're Brexiteers so, as per Arklight, their wealth must have been stolen from the common Brit, I mean European...

Day 23490 of the grand experiment into just how much we can poison people's conscious minds with tribal hatred before they break down completely and start running into traffic smeared in their own faeces.

That might be the only good thing about Brexit; getting rid of the likes of Farage.
I'll be happy to see them go as they have caused far more damage to the country than any foreigners, being quite willing to screw the place over for their own gains. Dyson at least invented some stuff but most of the rest seem to just be old money who've adding nothing whilst taking everything they can, and exactly the sort of establishment we should be trying to get rid of.
