Brexit the economy and house prices part 7: Brexit Harder

I haven’t been visiting these threads for a while as it’s an argument that is unlikely to end any time soon so my question may have been answered already.
This is a genuine question and I’m not after a debate but it’s often quoted by leavers that MPs who vote against Brexit in any way are doing so to line their own pockets. I am probably missing something but how does that work? I’d have thought that they’d be better off voting for it, keeping their constituents on side and getting voted back in next election.0 -

I think the idea is that they are being paid off by the corrupt EU. There was one MP's who's husbands charity (I think) received some EU funding, so that's naturally a bribe.
What baffles me is that they are concerned about pro-EU MP's doing so for personal gain, whilst completely ignoring the Pro-Brexit MP's who are going to gain from Brexit, like the supposed £8.something billion in currency shorting positions tied to Johnson directly/indirectly, as claimed by his own sister.0 -

Because they're the enemies of the people, and being paid off by George Soros, and went to university and want to stop us returning to 1940 where we can beat the entire world single handedly in a war and blah blah whatever other Murdoch propaganda is piped into Brexiteers brains.0 -

That was my assumption but no one provides any evidence of this and it never seems to be queried when brought up. I genuinely hope to get a leaver respond to this at some point.0 -
I wouldn't hold your breath, they seem to go pretty quiet when details are involved0

From posts I see on Facebook and some posters on here I get the impression that those leavers who are the more vocal repeat such lines without delving too deeply into the matter so you may we’ll be right. I am, however, open to listening to reasoning about it. If someone can give examples of MPs taking EU money I will certainly listen.
I’ve seen so much fake news (Lisbon Treaty expiring in 2022, EU forcing over 70s to pay TV license just two examples) repeated on Facebook that I’d delete my account but for a couple of groups that I belong to.0 -

I'm not really expecting you to get an answer, but if you do, can you please follow it up with a supplementary question as below?
Only, I've been reposting it for quite a while now & I seem to be being ignored....I don't know why. One single link would do. It seems so simple...unless?
Can anyone supply a link to an interview or written article where in the run-up to the referendum, any member of the Leave campaign promoted leaving without any type of deal?
Just one link please?0 -
That's hilarious coming as it does from a remainer, you know, one of those who have been conned into refusing TM's BRINO which now instead means a hard form of Brexit for you. :T
I think you misunderstand how parliament works. I didn't refuse TM's deal. Parliament gets to vote on what they want to do, because they are sovereign. I didn't get a chance to vote for it, because leavers are petrified that if the country is asked again then everyone will vote and they won't get the brexit they lied for.
So while you might want to pretend I was conned, it's just more deflection.0
