Nobody would change their opinion on Boris because of a signature.
Those who dislike him will still find reason to dislike..
..and vice versa.
The views have already been cemented. I'm not even bothered who likes Boris or not. It's just the way it is. Some will always hate Maggie T.0 -
It wouldn't make any difference - the EU wouldn't take him more seriously or do anything differently.
It's purely an attempt to curry favor with his fan base, because it looks like he's giving the EU what for, or something.
Obviously, much of what Boris does has an element of self interest.
He is trying to reinforce a perception that parliament are trying to thwart him 'doing the right thing' and concluding something which the public is getting increasingly tired of.0 -

Parliament has spent 3 and a half years trying to stop Brexit, anything he can do to help is very much appreciated by those wanting the referendum result to be actioned. Opinion polls suggest he is doing what people want.0 -

Which makes leave supporters look even worse, because it's simple to see that actually nobody is stopping brexit at the moment. Although if Boris keeps playing these stupid games then someone might just try.
If he stopped being so Boris, then he'd have gotten a deal passed by now.0 -

You need to look at this again & understand just how many MP's are really against Brexit, and this is why no deal has yet passed.0 -

If the number of 'remain' MPs really was significant brexit would've been off the table ages ago.
I'm afraid the Tories put the Europe goggles on and squirted their majority up the wall. If they'd avoided the 2017 GE brexit would've been 'done' by now.0 -
The Conservatives lost 13 seats in the 2017 election, those extra seats wouldn't have made any difference to the withdrawal agreement votes. The closest TM got was a 58 vote defeat.0

The 2017 GE finished Theresa May and the Tory leadership campaign effectively started the next day. The votes on the WA were a sham.0 -
Zero chance the DUP or ERG could ever vote for the backstop regardless of the leader.0

If the conservatives had more MPs then she wouldn't have had to pander to the ERG and DUP, to produce a deal that was so unpalatable but still not as bad for the UK as the ERG wanted & so they wouldn't vote for it either.
Boris is willing to push a "deal" through that is just more uncertainty and bad for the UK that even Nigel Farage is against it.
Meanwhile, the swing in support for remain continues.
There are pro brexit MPs where their constituencies voted to remain, yet the leavers are only interested in telling remain supporting MPs that they are out of touch.0
