Have to say, I never expected this whole process to take 3 and a half years or whatever it is.

    !

I expected us not to leave at all. Got it right, and expect to stay right.

Some interesting government documents have been leaked. Firstly alternative arrangements to the backstop https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/sep/02/irish-border-after-brexit-all-ideas-beset-by-issues

Secondly haulage and customs arrangements post Brexit https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/sep/02/leaked-no-deal-report-says-lorries-could-face-48-hour-delays-at-dover

Whoever leaked this is quick off the mark as the documents are dated 28th August.

I would have said a fall in sterling affects most people, wouldn’t you?

It certainly affects most, but some affects are gains (foreign investments).

I’m aware of that (and why I said most).

How many just about managing families do you think have a globally diversified portfolio?

Some will have some pension investments overseas, but that's of no real benefit unless they plan to retire in the next few years.

The just-about-managing will have almost nothing in savings of any sort.

The just-about managing are the one who have been promised most & who will receive the least.

The most desperate will be the hardest hit.

Not so much “receive the least” as “lose the most”.

Not so much “receive the least” as “lose the most”.
Judging by the actions of remainers, they (remainers) don't care.
They can't do because everything they are doing and everything they have done points towards those "just-about-managing" losing more and more because of the actions of these remainers.
If we had left March 29th as originally decided we would already be moving forward.

You're going to have to walk me through that one. Those that have the most to lose will lose because of Remainers, who are doing all they can do prevent the damage?

A good reason to oppose Brexit is the state of the people who want it. A Tory administration composed of liars, privileged Bullingdon misanthropes, and xenophobes - which on its best day has all the appeal of the Politburo. Heartily cheered on by the far right. Sorry if you're in the minority of "decent hardworking people" who support all that. But you need to look at the company you keep.
