Tax rates have no meaning to the youth unemployment in Italy which today stands at over 28%. Hardly surprising Italy is turning east towards China and the New Silk Road. There's a new superpower on the march.

    Literacy - in 3 languages probably :)
The official language of the netherlands is Dutch, spoken by almost all people in the Netherlands.
    (from Wikipedia)

Specification for the measurement of literacy as per the link in post 5551:
There are no universal definitions and standards of literacy. Unless otherwise specified, all rates are based on the most common definition - the ability to read and write at a specified age. Detailing the standards that individual countries use to assess the ability to read and write is beyond the scope of our source. Information on literacy, while not a perfect measure of educational results, is probably the most easily available and valid for international comparisons.

So no, in one language probably as far as the Netherlands is concerned.

And the people here in the UK can not see that vision the future of economy and the world is in Asia.

Some people even want to let the UK to become a subservient of the EU and to become the EU cashcow.

It looks like Boris has got the u turn excuse ready - the EU are refusing to deal with him because they believe parliament will stop a crash out.

Oh dear you missed the smiley. But the serious point is, most Dutch scholars getting as far as uni entrance level will speak fluent English and a pretty good 3rd language on top of their native Dutch. They have the bandwidth to do that yet still keep up with the basic literacy statistic.

If Jeremy Corbyn is not trusted to be PM by parliament, how on earth is he going to win a GE. Effectively it is a case of the Labour Party saying their leader is not fit to lead.
It’d be the kiss of death for the old fella and his pals.

Much as I think he’s a reactionary old tosspot, his stance on this is entirely correct. He’s the leader of the opposition !!!!!!. How can he not be the replacement PM when he has 247 MPs under him.

All these rebel MPs need to realise that they don’t run things in Westminster. Sooner we get a General election to sort this lot out the better.

Its why the Lib Dems went with the Tories in 2010 as they wouldnt join with Brown as PM. Morally he'll have a claim, but if the numbers dont work.......

Merkel appears to be looking for ways to break the deadlock. Last thing Germany needs now is a reduction in trade from the UK. As recession already seems on the cards.
  • We have to leave otherwise this country will never be the same - whether you voted for leave or remain you should except the result of the referendum and those MPs who think they know best are ruining this country and making parliament a laughing stock.

What if it’s just not possible after 46 years of increasing integration? Let’s face it, if it were anybway easy it would have happened already.

We might as well have voted to award ourselves a million pounds each or free beer for ever. Democratic, but not going to happen.

A Hamburg German professor on the radio this morning: Britain isn't that important to Germany, it ranks only 4th position for Hamburg port activity. But Germany is a lot more important to Britain, right?
