Brexit the economy and house prices part 7: Brexit Harder

There was a spike in hate crime after the referendum caused by the fact that every racist with a polling card voted for Brexit and got what they wanted.
The Leave movement has had three years to try and reconcile the existence of the tumour of racism in their ranks. So far they've come up with Boris Johnson and the Brexit Party. As well as some mealy mouthed excuses about how Europe's racists are worse than British racists.
Not once have I seen any condemnation of the demogoguic, dishonest xenophobia of the Tories, or the garden shed demented hatred that led to a far right fantasist killing Jo Cox due to her liberal values. After three years of watching right wingers refusing to condemn the indefensible one can only start to infer that they condone it.
The moral high ground is such a wonderful place to be. Jam packed with marxist anti-semites and their apologist buddies at the moment of course, but the views are incredible.0 -
Antisemitism within Corbyn's Labour is a disgrace (have you watched Panorama on the topic?) but, FYI, not every remainer is a Marxist, antisemite socialist.0

After all you wouldn’t want to look like a hypocrite.SouthLondonUser wrote: »....are you not willing to admit you were wrong? ...
When someone calls out your fake news, is your reaction to just pretend it did not happen?
How would you have reacted if I had posted something factually false and refused to acknowledge it?
I do not know if it was sloppiness or a deliberate attempt to deceive, but the fact remains that what you posted was factually false. Everyone can draw their own conclusions from your reluctance to acknowledge it and apologise. After three years of watching [STRIKE]right wingers[/STRIKE] Labour refusing to condemn the indefensible one can only start to infer that they condone it.0 -

What a bizarre claim. You don't need to be a marxist to dislike fascism, racism and so on.0 -
Spider legs, I have nothing to apologise for, because I never said you wrote that ALL remainers are like that. I just wanted to clarify that, since you talked of a moral high ground packed with etc etc.
Also, I strongly criticise Corbyn's Labour for antisemitism, so I am not sure what your point is.
As for apologies etc, zuzel posted a map of relative majority in each area claiming it showed seats held. It did not. Someone else strongly attacked me for that. Yet neither deemed it appropriate to admit it was a lie.
Surely you are not comparing my comment to a blatant lie whose author refused to admit and apologise for?????0 -
If you aren't fascist then how about a second referendum, fascists hate the idea of that & so I'm sure you'll love the idea of more democracy.
Lol.
Where do you start with that piece of genius logic?
Did your ancestors persecute witches in the Middle Ages by any chance? If she’s not a witch she’ll drown, if she floats she’s a witch.
The rhetorical mental gymnastics you people go through in an attempt to assuage your anger by lashing out at others.
Brexit derangement syndrome is truly a thing.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

The exhibition documents the rise of the poltitics behind Nazism following the end of WW1. Very balanced and informative. Suggesting that the UK is remotely close to such extremism is somewhat wide of the mark.
Thank you for helping to make my point. There was a journey from the end of WW1 to Nazism - it didn't arrive fully formed. I'm sure there were people like you playing it down until it was no longer possible.
In your World there's not a thing to worry about until the arrival of something which resembles the Nazis in 1942. It's an obvious ploy - if you compare everything to an extreme we'll always be on this side of it.
I don't get why you feel the need to make these silly arguments just because a bunch of racists wanted the same outcome from the referendum as you did. Why are you defending them?
Just be glad of their votes and hope you can put them back in their boxes as some seem to suggest. Of course that doesn't seem to be happening in the US and the same people making this suggestion are at pains to point out it's not happening in mainland Europe either. Funny that.0 -
And another invitation to the Leavers on this board to condemn the racism and xenophobia inherent in the Leave movement, is answered by claims that their racism isn't as bad as other people's.

Suggest you stop listening to fake news on Facebook and learn some real facts. Being better informed helps when attempting to discuss issues in a grown up manner. Not least for the memory of the many millions that lost their lives in the era.0 -

Really? You invoke the memory of people killed in WWII whilst accusing others of not discussing issues in a grown up manner. You should be ashamed.0
