Any clever photographer types out there that can tell me what '4:5 aspect ratio in portrait style' means in the context of a security pass photo?26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I believe it is where the width is 4/5ths of the height of the photo...
simplest example 4cm wide x 5cm high (aka 40mm x 50mm)
I think passport photos follow this ruling at 3.5cm wide x 4.5cm high.start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -

Aye, what natsplatnat said ^^^BUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Thank you!
I am sooooo tired this week. I was in bed for 9 last night and must have fallen asleep almost immediately. Woke up again at half 11 and couldn't get back to sleep so my early night did not pay offI need to catch up on sleep as I am not functioning very well - can't concentrate, being clumsy and no energy. I am feeling old today
Hubs tried to pay T MC in branch yesterday only to be told he needed TWO forms of identification so he will try again on Thursday. Statement date is 22nd so need to get it done before then.
Not much else to report really. Happy Hump Day!

Thanks guys. Feeling a bit exposed but glad I finally took the plunge and got it all out there. I think I was a bit nervous because we do earn plenty and live well. I don't want people to think I am 'playing at MSE' when there are people on here in truly difficult circumstances making tough choices every day. I find these people really inspiring and feel like a bit of a spoiled brat in comparison if I am honest.
)
I know how you feel on this.
I worry about talking about all the lovely things we do and the holidays etc as it looks like I am playing at the 'poor me and my debt' card. I worry most people think I might be showing off or something.
I honestly pinch myself every day thinking how lucky I am and how much my life has changed in the last 5 years. I used to have to choose between food and heat. I got in a lot of debt paying for basics and childcare so I could work hard to give SC a better life. I was on the way to that myself when my knight in shining armour (Mr Star) came along.
I would never have let myself dream of the life I have now. This is exactly why I have my diary. I want to get rid of the debt from my old life, teach myself to manage money better, become a saver, think ahead, prepare for any eventualities. Insure against the existence I had before.debt consolidated 16/8/18 £9,788.01/£12,618.12(Total debt at LBM 1st Jan '18 c..£19.5k)

Thank you StarMummy. I avoid posting things we have done so people don't think I am showing off which actually makes it pretty hard to keep a diary at all and I do find being on here helps me keep on track.
Most of our debt is a result of 2 maternity leaves and a period of redundancy just after I had NJ, as well as being stuck with a 2 bed flat we couldn't sell (the rent we got on it barely covered half the mortgage). We bought a beautiful house and PX'd the flat finally in 2015 so now we are not saving for the deposit we are trying to shift debt so we can actually enjoy the money we work so hard to earn.
I suppose I need to worry less about what others think and just post what I need to post to make this work for me...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Post what you want, if anyone says anything about it then it says more about them than it does about you.
