I'm 4 days in, 3 days off and I find so much to do on my "weekends" (in a good way). I don't know how anyone can get bored at home. I always run out of time!LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
Hi January Joy-Seekers,
Evening!:coffee: Swallowed a huge, undesirable frog today: I can still taste it. One step closer to happiness, I hope. But unable to share publically. I'm ok, just....making decision, difficult ones.

Please can anyone recommend any good surveys that are available via app on my phone. Doing them on the pc isn't a great option for me.
Have a look here. App-y ones are mentioned. (Link)Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

I thought we might be in the email as yesterday I had a pm from MSE Badger saying that I'd been given a badge for being money tipped, but it didn't specify what thread it was for.
As it was just one of those things that I started the thread this week and my lists are probably the least helpful out of all the wonderful contributors on the thread, I have messaged MSE Badger back to ask if all this week's contributors can have a badge too
Wow. That's an honour! Is something you suggested in this email, perhaps? (Link)Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
:j :j We are in the weekly email.
Today was a usual Wednesday, driving the children to various training, in various towns across the region.
Today I:
Only planned spends
Updated spending diary
Made bread
Stuck to meal plan
Small shop, stuck to list, mainly replenishing OTC medicines
Heated kettles on top of lit stove
B/L/D from stores
Remembered to take hot drinks with me today
Took snacks and drinks to all today's activities
Set DW to run overnight
Use battery charged alarm, as recommended by Ally :A
In the past I have had a spends diary, but not for the last few years. I decided I wanted to get back
into keeping a closer eye. Since the beginning of the year I have been noting down spends, in my free RM survey diary. Over the last few days I have been thinking about what else I want to know apart date/amount/where. I am going to trial recording daily spends, highlight cash spends, keep a weekly total and break down by category (Home education, food etc), monthly total and breakdown, as well as annual.
Do you keep a record of your spending? Where do you track it? What do you record? Do you do any analysis?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Morning,
I thought I'd check in here, my intentions are to do it more regularly but life gets in the way sometimes.
A small win yesterday.. I was really craving a sausage/cheese bagel in McDonalds.. as I was due to do a food shop, I bought the ingredients instead and made a homemade version at home which was cheaper and I have enough ingredients to either use again or to use on other things. It definately hit the spot anywayChandelier.

Morning frugal pals :hello:
Bb I don't track day to day spending, but do have a spreadsheet with all my shopping spends on for the last 3 years that show how much I've spent in each shop, monthly and annual averages. I also keep a record of big annual spends and all presents on another sheet so I can compare YOY.
My list for today:
Hot drink for commute, take snacks but work paying for my lunch so will just have a snack tonight
Cat now on new food regime, with weighed out special diet. We may have some serious leg rubbing an meowing later :rotfl:
Drink 2 litres water minimum, take bottle to work with me
Out for long walk tonight with friend. Get step count up.
Check banking, mid month lack of an.y move, ent making no lose ends for pads. If no change tomorrow might have to pad a fiver :rotfl:
