(((Hugs)))FFP. Hope it's arrived and you're in bed now.

It was about 10pm when it arrived, put everything past it was mostly tinned food and cleaning stuff, and went straight to bed. Haven't slept a wink. I've been in the bed, on the couch, on the floor, back in the bed again. I've given up now. I've got a cup of tea and I'm going to read for a bit.

  • Morning all,

Up at 5.30, shoved spag bol in slow cooker, showered, mopped floors and dried hair. Kids sorted for school and DW on. Long day ahead so my war paint is well and truly on!

    Have lovely days all xx

Sorry for those who couldn't or can't sleep. I am suffering from lack of sleep but this is because OH didn't get home until about 11.30 then we sat and chatted so it was getting on for 1 when we went to bed. so 6.20 seemed to come much too soon. OH had to be up and out early and dressed to the nines as they have official opening of new site so press, politicians etc. so that didn't allow for a leisurely start.

Anyway I'm up, dressed, had breakfast, DW emptied, WM on with 2nd load of sofa cushions. Just need to make a sandwich for my lunch. I am trying to park for free and take my lunch with me the result being I walk further, don't eat sweet rubbish and save some money so good for my waistline and my wallet.

Off to put breakfast in DW, make more coffee and go and close windows in bed and bathroom.

I've looked at my own personal list for things I have to do today and there's not a single thing on it that I actually want to do. *sigh*

  • No flying here, feeling very down. Have found out a friend of my daughter's has died; from what she says probably suicide. A waste of a life and close to home as I know she struggles too. Just hugs and love to everyone.

So sorry to hear about your daughter's freind, ShirlGirl.

I have polished a t**d, despatched the wretched minutes, and offered to resign as Minute Secretary. I very much fear no other bu**er will want to take it on, sadly.

    Now to polish something else.

(((Hugs))) to you and your DD, shirlgirl. There are no words that will help at this time except to say that nothing else can harm the friend now. So sad.

Yesterday I managed to do WMx3 and cleared the ironing pile.
    Today my list consists of
[STRIKE]- write and post a cheque
    - get some cash
    - do some more paperwork
    - essential visit to a family
    - make alterations to paperwork and send email [/STRIKE]
    - await reply, make more alterations to paperwork and send another email
    - make parsnip soup for lunch
    - 45 min zzz (I had a very broken night with a streaming nose - fortunately it seems to be getting better, though I'm now coughing more)
    - Rosie's walk (hoping for no more downpours like the one when I stopped off at the shops)
    - chicken "risotto" made with barley for tea
    - church council meeting this evening :(

Not much flying in there :( unless I can tidy my desk

Hugs to all who need them. Not a lot of flying done here since Monday morning, have just about kept on top of dailies, but I have 15 minutes before the paid stuff so will sweep the floors downstairs and wipe the big appliances in the kitchen.
Spend less now, work less later.
