My christmas tree is still up.
I am drowning in washing.. it is mostly clean so not stinky.
I need to change my bed sheets.. desperately..
I have scrubbed both toilets to cleanliness today.. run the DW.. threw chicken casserole in the SC because the girls had Lego club after school and I was getting back to late to throw food in.. TD on third run.. 5x WM done.. 2 boxes recycling out .. 3 empties of the maggot bin.. and a fling of squishy potatoes..
I have utter PMT rage today and a very wibbly tum....
DS3 ended up at cf's yesterday.. he had no door key so i had to wait up for him after being in dire need of a reasonably early night.. at 1:30 I messaged him saying he had to be at college today and I need to be up for school so is he coming home soon.. I got a reply 'yes ma'am, right away ma'am' ... I replied.. 'it doesn't take long for the behaviour to rub off does it' ... then dropped an apocolypse on his head when he came in at 2am.. he is super grovelling today and even cleaned a section of worktop in the kitchen.. he even apologised.
Anyway.. I am FINALLY having the chimney breast bricked up in the backroom next week (£220).. only taken 5 years.. and I am ordering the glass for the new front door (£117).. and the new flooring for the back room..( £200ish.. calculating actual price tonight.. in peace.) It's taken FOREVER to save up the money.. most is money from the christmas presents I bought on behalf of my mother and she gave me cash so I just stashed it.
I finally have the money for the surgery to get my tummy fixed.. I just need some time now! That is where I am REALLY poor!
anyway.. concrete boots for the BD's.. antibac spray for all you sickies.. hope you feel better soon.. and I might get back at some point before hell freezes over.. Hi ladies,
All I have achieved is work and feeding us all. We will gloss over the fact the kids had sausages and plain pasta for dinner
and that I'm eating rice pudding out of a tin as I type
:o
TD is on, and I have prepped the bits to go in the slow cooker in the morning for spag bol. Big love to all xxMFW

I had my day all planned out. Everything was under control and I wasn't just going to be up to date with things, I was in the process of actually getting ahead of myself.
Then Ofsted called.
!!!!!!. Now everybody suddenly decides they need somebody to help them create amazing displays and learning resources. And because mine are great [strike]because it's something I've always done rather than copy and paste any old stuff from the internet[/strike], guess who they ask? Like I don't have a few extra things to do (that were perfectly manageable without the extra stuff)?
My plans for tonight are therefore;
Eat shedloads
Drink my first cup of tea all day (why on earth did I cut coffee consumption down to zero over the last month?)
Eat more
Drink more tea
Have a bath
Drink more tea
Go to bed knowing I've got to be in early [strike]but no way am I going to be in at 6am like some claim to be doing[/strike].I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Back home after work, 1st load of sofa covers out of machine and hung to dry. Duvet cover dry so that needs to go back on the bed.
Parked for free, but a bit further to walk so as a result 10000 steps done so happy. . However now enjoying a glass of red whilst I watch cakes on tv. Lessons all sorted for tomorrow so shouldn't be too bad a day even if it will be a bit long.
Need to sort out something for dinner tomorrow night, leftovers from freezer tonight.
Honey Bear just looked up Shashuska and it looks delicious, I usually have the ingredients in so will give it a go soon
OH home from his travels late tonight so I guess it won't be an early night but never mind.

Another day is nearly done without me having achieved much. My dog day boarder had a whale of a time, so it looks like he's going to be a regular visitor, twice a week.
I had a visit from the owners of the two long-term dogs who have been with me since the summer. He's finally moving in to his new bungalow this week and should be ready for his girls on Monday. I'm quite sad, as I think I'm really going to miss them (especially the chocolate labrador).
Had a meet and greet with a collie and his owners. They've booked a week next month, so my diary is looking fairly full for the next couple of months!
I loaded the dishwasher, but that is about all...0 -
Got some get up and go there and got up and...
Put the dishes past
Wiped the scullery table
Cleaned the sink
Washed the bunkers
Put a lightbulb in the hall
Rubbish out (helped by DD)
Changed the scent in the warmers
Paid the bills
Updated my spending diary
Sent DD to dancing
I really just want to get a shower and jump into bed but I need to wait for the Mr A delivery. Harry Potter it is then just hope I don't fall asleep!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
On the down side I think that I am going to have to get the Valli mantra framed and hung in various rooms. Putting away is a skill that is still to be perfected in this household.
One of the best things I did was to buy a little table, for just inside the front door, with a small drawer designated as the key drawer. Now no more panicked searches for car keys or door keys in a morning!
Putting away makes such a difference!
I've had another lovely day. I feel I've really achieved something - various errands run, washing line dried, clean kitchen and bathroom. I feel at peace.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Hugs to all feeling ill, there seems to be so much around. In the past I have suffered from the anxious panic attack feeling and it’s so dreadful, makes you not want to go to public places like supermarket etc so really feel for you guys. You can get over it, and I barely get like it now, so hang on in there.
Swimming with DS was great, then home and;
Painted bathroom wall
Noticed some of skirting board needed painting in gloss, painted.
Now noticed the old skirting board was cream and the new bit white (obviously the old paint had faded) so had to repaint the old bit too!

Cleaned sink
Walked dogs
De-cluttered and hoovered spare/DS room
De-moulded patch in bedroom
Started to tidy utility
WM x 1
TD x 1
Washing away in drawers
Tomorrow, finish cleaning bathroom, hoover and dust landing, hoover and dust stairs, tidy/clean utility, more general de-cluttering downstairs.Mortgage overpayments 2014 £175
