  • Hellloooooooo still here, just working like a loon and away from home so not much flying can be done.

Hubby claims he's done the washing at home. I shall wait and see how well he's done (I can guarantee that it will still be hung on the airers when I get home tomorrow).

What does a goat inspector inspect and why do you need to be inspected? I am fascinated.

  • Hi all x

Still down with the lurgy. So not much flying. I have made the beds, made a sweet potato and cauliflower curry, downloaded a couple of books. Not enough of any type of washing to make up a load so I'll have 5 at the one time again.
DS1 took DD to her orthodontist appointment for me today cost me a £20 'loan'
Sick of every time I need to ask him or Ex to do anything it costs me money. I'm working 2 jobs to keep my head above water, it's probably terrible for me to be thinking like this but I just feel they are ripping the p*** now.

  • Hi all

Had to scroll back to see what was going on with Dizzy and the goat inspector. I didnt know such a person existed either but well done anyway!!!

Joining ATB in the grumpy corner. Just because. Long day at work, DH been home (unpaid) but done little, DS2 wants to go on holiday with 3 very unsuitable friends (why he likes these people I do not know), DS1 away at the moment so not causing me much grief. Oh and we are completely penniless.

But house is fairly tidy so that's something I suppose.

OH cooked dinner, soup out of a packet but I'm not complaining as I was too tired to do anything.
But I have loaded DW and set it on for later.
    Kitchen is tidy

    My head is fried.

Dot came out of school mid meltdown again.. yesterday they moved her to another table because she claimed she couldn't see the board. Today she was struggling with some new geography words.. Monday it was because they hadn't read her book.. Tuesday she came out bouncing off the walls..

Boog's laptop died... He had to be physically restrained from bashing his head on the chest of drawers...

I cannot do this.. I have to decide now whether I continue with thte plan to get the fire place fixed in the back room which has been a gaping filthy sooty hole for nearly 5 years.. (I thought it was 6 but it is actually 5) or get Boog a new laptop for his (and MY sanity) ... I have bought the flooring the the back room, I've had the carpet 2 years... I need this filthy hole fixed... I cannot afford both and I have no idea what to do.

    Morning

Lots of ((hugs)), sticks and spoons all round for all those going through tough and frustrating times.

The Friday list is the one that I really need to do, so that might have to be the Sunday list this week as I seem to have run out of days.

Work today. Ironing done, wm loaded in the hope that DH will actually be able to switch it on when he gets home without having to call me three times to talk him through the settings. It is no longer a brand new machine, so he should have worked it out by now *sigh *.

Have a good day everyone. I hope that some of the carp flying around flies well away.
  • Morning all

Quick visit from me off to work in a minute, lovely Lower Sixth students today so hopefully a nice day (albeit long).

Sofa covers in wash, fire cleaned and re-laid, recycling out. Have fab days all x

I have the day at home today although I would like to get my hair cut if there are any available appointments today. Someone is coming this morning to go through details of the quote for a new boiler for my rental house and talk to me about redoing this bathroom.
    So far today:
Up, showered, dressed, breakfast eaten and all in DW and kitchen ok
Bed & bathroom windows opened (and shut again 10 mins later as it is well below freezing here this morning)
Bins brought back in and recycling taken out
Pellet stove put on to keep house warm so I'll need to fill it.
    WM on

    Things to do today:
    Book hair appointment
    Fill pellet stove
WM again plus TD & fold/iron & put away
    Banking & expenditure
    Medical refunds
    Dentist appointments
    Blood test appointment
    Printing for DD2
    X ray appointment
    Mamogram appointment

Have you spotted I don't like making appointments, daft I know as once I pick up the phone with my diary in front of me it's easy.

Going to make another coffee and make a start.

    SMILE it's Friday!
