    Morning all
It’s dull, wet and generally miserable.
    So far I have
    Emptied the dw
Run the wm on the wrong cycle so that it has taken way more time than expected
Put a second load in, hopefully on the correct cycle
Made a start on the ironing pile
Done a slinky weigh in, only to find that I have put in everything lost and more.

I will be taking DD out later then it’s a rush back as we have 2 invitations out tonight. A bit like buses, as this will be our annual quota of going out, but all in one weekend.

The one plus - I have a large bag of towels to drop at the dog centre.

Have a good day all. Lots of hugs as needed.

ETA I’m with you on the HHC, Roundtuit, but definitely on a go slow
  • Morning flyfriends x

I'm up  couldn't sleep when I went to bed ended up getting back up and reading for a wee while. Went back to bed at about half 6. Got woke up there with the work calling me about pure dribble
Any way my bedding is now in the WM, the stuff on the winterdykes is folded and put past and I have coffee!

How did you get on, Round?
    I managed to
    hang up the clean washing
sort out the airing cupboard before filling with new ironing
clear a couple of hotspots in the utility room, which led to a quick sort of a cupboard in there, and rotating a couple of food stocks.

Not a lot, but far more than I would have done without the HHC challenge, so thank you x
  • Morning!

Himself did well last night. Made soup and bread from scratch, washed up and then gave my back a good poking and prodding about before a foot massage as everything hurt and was incredibly dry. I woke up at 9.17am, feeling properly rested. Amazing.

And then I turned over to find AF had been quite active overnight.

Bedlinen duly stripped and washload on. Splats fed. Rodent spotted in back garden and Himself is cooking a huge breakfast.

I think I might do some of the garden today. Just not the bit where the rodent disappeared underneath.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Thank you Fayolle xx How did you do?

My HHC turned into 40 minutes during which I:

    set the timer
got washed, dressed, cleaned teeth, combed hair
    opened bedroom & bathroom windows
took a pile of 'stuff' up from the back of the sofa - clean clothes mostly
put bowl of pots to soak
    sorted Mount Washmore into loads
    set first load swishing
emptied DS's overnight bag and added to loads
    fed the birds
    put out the recycling
emptied living room bit bin into kitchen bin
WULTD one bowl of pots (timer beeped halfway through)
refilled bowl and have glass jars soaking - to be recycled
tipped remnants of coffee jar in to new coffee jar
put empty coffee jar in bowl with other jars
    made a coffee

Well that works!!!! :T I have never joined in a HHC, never mind initiated one. Although I need to slow down a bit - it's not a race. It's a …. ermm I dunno what it is :o but defo NOT a race :D

I need to be doing some more of those, but coffee first.

I guess I ought to stir myself again and finish off the jobs I started in my HHC :)

    So I'm going to:
unload WM, drape wet washing on airer and set second load swishing
    DUPA pots
wash jars and put in recycling box

Then it'll be lunch time :D

  • I've opened the windows, moved bedding from WM to TD. Loaded the LR throw into the WM, gave DD my fashion advice and then got her to make me tea ;) Debating whether to get up and do something else or get comfy on the couch and try to get a couple of hours before work.

  • I'm groomed and much tidier looking now!

I've also paid the window cleaner, visited the library, bakery and co-op, made our bed and cleaned the loo upstairs.

Kids and DH will be back soon, lazy afternoon planned. There is some boxes of paperwork in the garage that I may sort if the mood takes me, we can burn what we don't need on the fire xx
