Well I'm not sure where today went, I feel like I've been very busy but not sure I've got anything much to show for it
I had 2 online sales to post this morning which is good. The forecast was for strong winds and rain courtesy of storm Brendan but that didn't materialise until later so I got out to the PO in good time.
Made a chicken curry for the family and some celery and mushroom soup with the last of the fridge contents. All thats left in the veg box is half a tumshie and a bunch of spring onions. Got a Tosco delivery coming this evening. I say 'evening' loosely as it'll arrive right at the end of the 4 hour slot which is between 10 - 11pm.
The energy bill is in and much to my relief am still about £60 in credit, was a bit concerned as had the heating on quite a bit having been at home for 2 weeks.
Have done my 20 in 2020 list so will post that soon - better late than etc :cool:0 -

Back in the day we used to carve 'tumshie lanterns' for halloween - very hard work.
Been tidying and putting papers into the recycling, catching up with work emails and general life admin.
Had another decent online sale last night so have packed that up. Going out for a haircut at lunchtime, will nip back for a shower - don't like the bits of cut hair that inevitably land down my cleavage. Then going into work for late afternoon into the evening.

We used them for Halloween as well! No faces carved, just a well for a candle. Also had to look up 'tumshie' - a swede - that must have been extremely hard work to carve out!
LOL they were very hard work, we did used to carve fairly rudimentary faces. Goodness know how we didn't end up hacking ourselves as well. Lots of parental supervision involved I think0 -
Well the week flew by followed by the weekend. I've been working quite a bit and had some long days but also had some fun things as well. Went to a course all day on Wednesday, lots to take in but I met someone I used to work with and hadn't seen for years so that was nice. Was out on Friday evening to see one of my favourite authors interviewed. Was a long day though as I left for work before 8am and got back about 11pm. Much needed long lie the next day.
Not much to report on the money front, all CCs paid, as money is so tight this month its just been the minimum plus a few £s.
On the plus side I've been doing ok with the online selling and have 3 items to pack so hope that continues. Am recording 'Vera' so off to watch that and whizz through the ads when they come on.0 -
