teapot, do you need to pay that office rental? You live on your own now, sadly ... you could do it, have an office at home. That would save time too (which might be spent in going for a walk, of course, but thats fine!).
You're doing very well with the spending diary established to set up an accurate budget, good for you. And its the first proper day tomorrow - hope *this* goes well.
Thanks KC, I've thought about this but I don't live in an area where I'd get a lot of work from home to be honest. I share a room with a colleague and its very near to the city centre [where there is work] and TBH under £300 a month isn't bad as lots of places we looked at are more expensive.0 -
Teapot, I thought you had a mix of both too
. I've just looked back at why I thought that and you've written things like "I've been told to do a phased return", that kind of thing.
None of our beeswax of course, its just interesting! Though I confess, I'm still wondering about the office rental?
Anyway! Off to bed nowthe cats are already up there
hope you sleep well, and the very best of luck for tomorrow

Ah ok, its a phased return because I do 3 different self employed bits of work but I'm not to go back to them all at once
Hope you and the cats sleep well - is one still weeing out of the box? Do they share a cat tray?
Am always pleased to hear what other people think [mostly] as its helpful to get feedback and ideas and one of the reasons I have the diary and blether on.

Ah, gotcha, that makes sense.
The cats! No, they're not peeing out of the box now. There are two litter trays - they have those box tops too, to stop the smell percolating? I wondered if the doors were jammed, but they weren't. I took the tops off, and there's been no further peeing outside of the trays since. I suspect they were stressed by the normal commotion of their usual humans packing and getting ready, then by their substitute human (me) coming along. I think they "held it in", so to speak toosorry to overshare

Glad that normal peeing has been resumed  was going to suggest it sounded like a stress response but would hopefully settle again and it sounds like it has.
I don't think you could 'overshare' re cat toilet business :rotfl: I've seen and cleared it all up over the years including having to get a urine sample from the cat several times :eek:
Hope you have a good day, and its not too stormy down there.0 -

Ah, apologies Beanie, its because I have 3 separate bits of self employed work and have fully returned to one of them, the other is still pretty small and I've not gone back to the third one yet at all. It all makes sense to me at least
Not a NSD, needed to get his regular pills for the big old furry boy. Also needed a loaf, butter, more pain killers and some stamps so £6.80 spent  Walked there and back for the first time.
Did a £2.50 Prolific survey which has already been approved and a few on OP. I must remember to sign up to Circle so I don't pay fees by cashing out on P@ypal.
Not sure where the evening has gone, my mouth is sore tonight so I'm going to take some pain killers and go to bed. Got a long day tomorrow0 -
