Yes, I wasn't physically able to do anything in the garden last year so I paid someone just to do the essentials. All the old foliage and seed heads were still there from last year so I've made a good start on clearing that. Not sure I'll be out there today as theres a haar this morning and its a lot colder and damper.

I've got to go and get a card for a friend whose mum has died and I'll probably potter about the high st. I also need some bread as running out.

I'm back to work for the first time tomorrow so will need to look at which bus to get etc and get my 'stuff' ready.

Went out and bought and posted a card to my friend. Had a coffee when I was out and treated myself to a loaf of sourdough bread. [Just re-read that and it sounds like I had a coffee and ate a loaf :o]

No gardening today as it was really chilly and damp out. Put out the recycling and the food waste bin for the morning.

Was meant to be meeting a friend for a coffee before work tomorrow but shes ill and has cancelled. Feeling a bit apprehensive about tomorrow, not the work but more the travelling in and out. Be glad when my first day back is over. Night, night

Thanks KC, yes I;ve been told to do a phased return so as I do a bit of a patchwork of jobs, I'll go back to them gradually.

Well, that wasn't the day I was expecting :eek: I went to bed fairly early [for me] and woke up after a couple of hours in a lot of pain with toothache. Tried painkillers but that didn't touch it so spent most of the night awake :(

Felt rubbish in the morning still so rang dentist and made emergency appointment. Cancelled work which is not good for a first day back [felt really bad as I rarely miss work]. However I couldn't have concentrated with the pain.

I thought I maybe had a abscess and would get antibiotics but after xrays the dentist said it was a wisdom tooth and it needed removing :eek: So tooth out and several stitches in - not what I thought was going to happen.

Good news is that I managed the journey fine and it was painfree [apart from the tooth :D] compared to when I went back after the first surgery.

Am really tired and a bit sore so will have some painkillers later and head off to bed.
