You've got lots of people over the next few days :) hope it all goes really well, and the food you've prepared sounds delish :)

Thanks KC, family round today and I think the mac cheese I made must have indeed been delish as DGN who normally pushes the food round his plate after a few mouthfuls, not only polished it all off but asked for and ate seconds :T:T

I also made a meal for them to take away so that their mum doesn't have to cook tonight, its half term here so she is pretty tired. Lots of washing up as a result so will need to do the pots which are steeping but the rest are done.

This morning I did 2 loads of washing and hung it outside for the first time this year and all dried :D Hoovered through and cooked lunch etc.

After lunch, we went to the play park for a while as it was quite a mild day at that point, wee ones had a great time running round and playing on the slides and swings.

When I got back I wanted to spend some time in the garden tidying but the wind had got up and it was cold so I was only out long enough to pick up the recycling that had blown in :mad:and a few other bits. Maybe tomorrow.....

So I brought in the washing and then aired and sorted out the upstairs bedrooms and made the beds for tomorrow's visitors.

Think thats mostly it for today oh yes, I heard from Mr T re my leaking milk container and short dated fruit & veg. They have refunded the produce & milk and credited me £5 for the inconvenience of the milk drips over the floor so thats a good result :D

The gubbins for putting my T S B account online arrived so I'll set that up later, close the ISA and request a transfer into that acct. Am just waiting for a friend to call back so won't start that till shes phoned.

Had a lovely visit with my friends. The weather was mild and sunny so we were able to get out lots. Visit and walk to a local nature reserve and saw lots of birds, quite a few I'd never seen before including an owl out hunting. Had a nice lunch then a look round an exhibition. Second day we had a couple of lovely walks, all the snowdrops are out in drifts and looking amazing. Friends very kindly insisted on buying meals and coffee out as they both have incomes.

They went home yesterday after we went out for breakfast :D

My only spends over the weekend were a donation to the bird reserve and buying puddings for after our evening meals so around £8

£25 from Onepoll has arrived in my account and I've had a few surveys to do, Yougov and OO. I've got to around £15 on Prolific but its gone quiet there again.

Am now on antibiotics as got a bit of an infection in my foot :o am needing to sit with it up when I can, so have cancelled going out for a walk with family today but we are going on a visit to the farm shop instead so am getting out. Had hoped to do a bit in the garden as its sunny but again maybe not a good idea. As I had surgery in the last few months, I need to be very careful around infections as am still healing

Was at physio y'day [2nd visit of the day to the surgery :o] and not a lot of progress despite me keeping up all the exercises so that was a bit disappointing but I'll keep going with them.

Have done some work related emails as think I'll be going back in a phased way in the next few weeks. I've set up the online reg for my new T S B account and closed an old ISA and transferred the money there as it is a much better rate of interest.

Still need to phone re the PPI on OH's estate so will need to put on 2 pairs of big girl pants for that....

Off to pack an online sale for posting when am out later.
