I would hate to think what they would expect me to spend based on this comp !
However, when we go in June, i know, i just know, i am gonna win what i lost this year !(hehe, i hope so !!!)

With the way MLife have seemingly changed the way they update gaming offers, I am waiting to see how $30K of coin in over a weeks stay in November may have improved my offers!0

Yellow Productions have done a new video on about new stuff coming next year, etc.
I don't like this 'asking for prices' trend in the gift shop. Reeks of sneakiness and greed imo.
Anyway, have a look and see what you think.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jM6x_kujUMBEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j0 -
The dynamic pricing is a turn off. No prices I would just turn round and exit the shop. Excalibur not exactly the clientelle and luxury of Bellagio or Venetian etc🙄
The new hotel developments look interesting. I usually stay at Mlife resorts so will look out for pricing when the new complexes are built.
We were in town last week and these developments seem to be coming on since this time last year. We walked through Sahara after parking up and seems an improvement on when we stayed tgere as the SLS, I can't comment on the rooms.
Not a golfer but $500 for a 4 hour round of golf, are they taking the Mick.
Other comments from our recent visit. We visited Fremont St as usual and was expecting big changes but didn't notice much of a change. Those that like to dine, gamble or eat at Ellis Island the new Front Yard brings style to the place. Well worth visiting to new and existing customers I.m.o.0 -
On the note of the ellis island, when we went in Oct, i took my pal there who had heard about it, but had never been....
Safe to say, he said the ribs from Ellis are the best he ever had!!!!
Gotta be said, for Baby Back, they beat the likes of Tony Roma's...
Famous Daves = Best for st loius ribs !
Tried many other places, but those rock ! Rollin Smoke still good mind!
Looking at our June stay (to cover 3 nights), torn between which CET place to stay at (Caesars was great this year!)
Eyes are set on Paris, but daft as it is, its all about the pools for us!
So Paris, PH or Flamingo (or could do caesars again!)
decisions decisions!
oh, and happy Xmas all !0 -
@Stuie agree the ribs are lovely at Ellis Island, we had the chicken and ribs last week. The front yard has a different menu to the other restaurants, looks nice. We had a few coupons from the American Casino Guide, got a free tshirt, free play and other goodies from Ellis Island.
We have never stayed at Paris but particularly like the choice of pools at Mandalay Bay. We stayed in Delano for 5 nights last week but had use of the Morrea pool and spa which is open all year.
A note on Tuscany Suites, I had heard a lot of good reports about it so gave it a try for 3 nights and must say was impressed. Only 10 to 15 minutes walk to the strip, the selection of bars and restaurants, plus free parking was good for us. Plus it is usually cheaper than the strip resorts. The rooms are a nice large size and are well kept. Another plus for Tuscany Suites it is only 5 to 10 minutes walk to Ellis Island and Stage Door Casino which we like to frequent.

Hi everyone, not strictly a LV question, but I know you guys will have the experience
I'm looking at booking return flights next July LON>NYC. I've only ever flown Virgin economy (as it was) for translatlantic flights and always found the experience satisfactory.
I was wondering how you think BA compares like-for-like, and in particular Premium Economy? Am thinking of PE for a treat (Mrs SM's big birthday!), but just weighing up if it's worth paying extra for PE, or using the cash for a hotel upgrade/better hotel...0 -
hi secretmachines
sadly cant comment on your question in regards the pe flight ba vs virgin but there was(is?) a thread similar to this but all things new york that may be of help to you, though last time i checked in was a few months ago,
nyc is a great place to visit..we have done it 3 times before 2 x times with a trip to vegas as well!
hope this may help a lil!0 -
