I am trying. Now up 4000 points ( to spend) and 2000 vip points , I should get to level 1 by the end of 90 days, then need to keep it there or get to level 2 as we don’t go till August so may be able to get a room .
I know the buffets are only available up to may is that the same for the rooms do you know?
And is there a limit on how many buffets you can purchase? I know they are 1200 each and you can purchase 2 for 2400 but how many multiples of 2 can you buy in any given time
No limit on the number of rewards as far as I know - it gets so hard to collect the gems as you move up though! I think the room restrictions are the same as the buffets, but I’ve already got a room sorted so haven’t looked into those properly yet...0 -
I started with the Wynn game in September after reading about it on here.
It’s frustrating as hell.
I have nearly 6500 gems at the moment, which I think I’ve done quite well to get that many. The problem is you need LOADS of coin to play, to collect gems at a reasonable rate, so every time I get a few 100 mil I start on the HBHB to add coins quicker...only to end up broke.
Then it’s slowly play the scratchers again to build up a stash of coins again.
I joined the Wynn slots tips and tricks facebook group for tips to collect quicker. But to be honest it just depresses me the number of people on there who keep posting who have accumulated max gems @ 25000 and billions of coin....I know it’s purely down to luck, and those with multi billion chip stack are obviously just lucky, but every time I get a decent amount I blow it in about 20 mins.
But in some way I feel this is necessary to accumulate gems in a timely manner, there’s no point in having billions if you have few gems...it’s the gems that get the rooms.
Buffet rewards are limited depending on what level you are.
You can only get buffet rewards starting at level 1....2 buffets per month at level 1.
Level 2...4 buffets per month...and so on.
Personally think 1200 per buffet is a lot considering time it takes to get them.
I think 2400 gems spent for a buffet each is only ok if you have either many 1000s of gems or required amount of gems for a room isn’t a realistic target, and your happy to settle for a buffet a piece.0 -
Re Wynn buffets: Level 1 can get 2 buffets per month, level 2 is 4, level 3 is 6, level 4 is 8, level 5 is 10.0
-
Is the 2 buffets a month 1 plus a guest or 2 plus guests0

I believe it is two single reservations or one double, it’s not clear. I will check on the group on Facebook and let you know what they say. We haven’t tried booking any even though we are here. We are all buffet’d out after 5 weeks. Once a week is more than enough. One week to go.0 -

i would nomally agree re being buffet,d out ( is that a word) but the Wynn buffet is fantastic and its the only dinner buffet we do now and only then if we have any offers for it
I have just joined the facebook group mentioned in Brats post0 -
Yes, thanks for the Facebook group tip. The Wynn slots app is very frustrating compared to MyVegas (or at least how MyVegas used to be, seems like they're determined to crush any value out of it).
Agree the Wynn buffet is the only one I'd want multiple trips to :-)0 -
Off on trip No 17 to Vegas in March next year and planning on taking in a Golden Knights Ice Hockey game.
They have standing tickets on the upper deck that include 'all you can drink ' beer and snacks for about $160 each, and a few of us fancy doing this.
Just wondering if anybody else has done this, and was it worth it,?0 -
Hi,
Some very good Black Friday offers can be found here:
https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/offers/black-friday-vegas-2019.html - Travel dates: Now – November 2020.
Another good resource is https://www.vegas-hotels-online.com/category/cyber-monday/ - For example: Aria from $95, Excalibur from $17, and MGM Grand from $38. Minimum stay is two nights and some offers have a dining credit (up to $125).
Have a good weekend!0 -
Cheers Dan - any good deals for Caesars properties knocking about? I’m likely to be Diamond so plan to save some cash not paying the resort fees0
