The MLife offers are looking good. Worth checking if you haven't recently. Just booked 4 free nights at Delano in a Scenic Suite, resort fee included, with $75 freeplay and $100 resort credit. I then have two comped nights at the Wynn, and if I can get a decent deal on PE flights I might add another three comped MLife nights somwhere and make it a10-dayer.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

Am opposite sides this time....
Heading from Palm Springs to Laughlin, but not using interstates, will be using the roads where you don't see much traffic, or shops, or anything, other than rock & dead things!Should take about 6hrs to get to Laughlin on my route.
Will pass through towns that to an outsider, might look a little nerving !
Changing our plans now though, so after Laughlin, we do 1 night in the Downtown Grand, then down to the lux for 4 nights....
Plans for Downtown, are: Mob museum, and then to get spanked in the heart attack grill !0 -

Do you have to book or can you walk in on a weeknight no issue?0 -
We got hit by the BA piglets strike yesterday. Was due to fly to Vegas on the 9th in Club. Got email to say that sector has been canceled.
Read all the horror stories of people waiting hours on the phone lines to rebook. But ours was an Avios booking using a Lloyd’s voucher. So I rang Avios, got through in 30 minutes, sorted the same flight but 2 days earlier ( I had actually been looking for award availability to extend our holiday without success) and BA are footing the Signature hotel and food bills for those 2 days
it's sounding like you might be staying same place as us again briefly....we move to Signature on 8th for 4 nights.0 -

It never looks full to me ( i have walked past dozens of times) although its a bit hard to see inside, so guessing its easy to get a seat
Its never appealed to me to go in, the food doesnt get good reviews.0 -
I should have typed up a bit of info earlier when I was awake and jetlagged....we are shortly heading for breakfast.
This year we flew to Los Angeles. We stayed in Culver City for 2 nights, and went to Santa Monica, Malibu and Beverly Hills. After this, we drove to Palm Springs for one night. It was stupidly hot as there have been some excessive heat warnings. Was 44C maybe. The next part was supposed to be a drive to Vegas via Joshua Tree etc, but the road was closed due to flooding (very heavy rain during the night). So we had to take the freeway instead. 5 hours and a pretty boring drive.
We then headed to Red Rock, arriving on Labor Day. We were offered a suite for $100 per night but declined. We're on a really low rate via Priceline $59 I think it was, but there's lots of fees on top of that. On arrival, we went to the pool and it was really busy. Found a nice spot then a bunch of teenagers started causing chaos in the pool so we had to move. Wasn't the most pleasant experience at the pool that day, considering we loved it here in the past. Yesterday we did 10am-12 noon at pool and it was so much better, and just what I remembered.
Tomorrow we head to Tuscany for 3 nights, then 4 nights at Signature with myVegas. Got lots of plans for those 7 nights on the strip, including various myVegas redemptions and some happy hours.
Shopping - we've actually got some good bargains, but also importantly got some things I needed/wanted. The exchange rate is poor, but I got jeans very cheaply at TJ Maxx and some sports wear I wanted too.
Anyway, best get down for breakfast and then head to the pool. Shopping again for a bit this afternoon nearby, and might go see Jackson the Burro up the road at Red Rock if we have time.0 -
Hi all,
I just wanted to share what I did earlier this year from Vegas, I was backpacking though the US flights into LA and out of SF (to canada) but definitely wanted to visit Vegas so I did stayed in a dive hostel and walked along the strip, had a great few nights with not a lot of sleep!!
Next step getting to SF I found a transfer RV on https://www.transfercarus.com/ $1 a day hire for 3 days!! currently there are quite a few wanting to be moved from LA to LV I also got $200 towards fuel. Fuel was a little bit more than the $200 as I had taken a bit of a longer way to get to SF but got to see and stay at death valley, Lake Isabella and a random hot spring "resort" outside of SF
So if you have a few days and flying into/out of LA/SF definitely have a look at the transfer RV's The one I had would of comfortingly slept 8 just for me!
Full disclosure I ended up forking out $700 as I scraped the RV along a concrete road barrier, expensive mistakeThanks to money saving tips and debt repayments/becoming debt free I have been able to work and travel for the last 4 years visiting 12 countries and working within 3 of them. Currently living and working in Canada  :dance:0 -
Planning next trip to Vegas for September next year, have been playing MyVegas and Wynn app and have just shy of 1,000,000 coins on MyVegas and 5,500 gems on Wynn (only been playing Wynn a few weeks so hope to have more before we book)
Would you guys recommend just booking the flights early and getting the dates confirmed then sort out hotel using coins/gems nearer the time or should i wait and book it all nearer the time?
If I don't use the points for hotels do you book flights and hotel together or separately? i have seen on some of the MyVegas Facebook pages that people can get decent hotel rates using links on them?
Thanks0
