Whether Virgin will be charging you for a case is dependant on the exact fare type. Remember they have Economy Light, Classic and Delight (so with the fare difference you mentioned, make sure you’re comparing like for like - tho a £200 jump sounds too much for it to be just differences in Economy fare... maybe Virgin just have a special package deal going for the Venetian)

Thanks for replying :)
I forgot that they have three different options now. Still think it's a disgrace to have a tiered pricing system, especially when it's going to the same place.
I remember a time when going to Vegas was quite reasonable....
It's still worth it in a way, but they try and squeeze every last penny out of folk now.
No wonder numbers are falling.
BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j

Not really, you won't get Marciano, Guess, Top Shop, Saks, Steve Madden, Norstrum, Neiman Marcus, Chinese Laundry, et all new season stuff at Primm. You'd be better off at Town Square where they have some of the outlet stores of the more main shops.

Who buys Tommy Hilfigger . Armani AX, DKNY, and the like these days anyway.
Loads of people judging by the long queues there always seem to be for the tills at Tommy Hilfiger (only one "g").

Despite several visits to Neiman Marcus, Norstrum and Saks, I have yet to find anything I would buy because I liked it, rather than buying it to impress other people.

This comes across as akin to teenagers bullying someone because they are wearing the "wrong" trainers.

Sign up to Simon Services (for the Outlet malls), you dont get the option now to get a voucher to exchange for a booklet, it makes u print off the vouchers instead...
It gives you access to the main booklet vouchers, and then specials (handy for the RL shop with 25% off when spending over $125 , which expired 31st May just to note) !, but you get the same specials quite a few times a year which are better deals than the booklet style vouchers...

I like the shopping, just not as much as the wife (hence going quite a few times last month!)...
After the discounts, it worked out to be like $14.20 inc tax for a crew/V Neck t-shirt in RL , good money saving!
I have found for the past couple of years that you really need to check the website just a couple of days before your visit, especially if you are going at the beginning of the month, as a lot of the coupons are short dated. It's also worth going at the weekend around Holiday dates, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc as some offers are weekend only.

For those that DO like shopping at Tommy Hilfiger, at checkout they give you a coupon for a percentage off Calvin Klein. I've had 10 and 20% in the past. They also do the same at Calvin Klein. Depending which store you tend to spend more in, it is worth buying from the other one first to get the coupon.

On another note, Primm has a load of baby/child outlets still open. We have an abundance of great grandchildren to buy for and the cheapest we have seen are at Primm and the TKMaxx along Sahara. OH will have 7 ggbabies before our next trip.
Good to know. I don't get on with TK Maxx at all in the UK and the same with Marshalls in Vegas.

Anyone looking for current season or full price stuff can stop reading now and save themselves time.

We LOVE Ross Dress for Less and have been getting most of our shopping there since they opened the second branch on the strip. We have had some cracking bargains including Calvin Klein tops for $20 and CK dresses for $30, Skechers shoes, Guess and Michael Kors handbags are cheaper than the outlets. Obviously it won't suit anyone who is looking for the current season's attire, but for those like me who don't give a hoot, there can be some great finds. I have never understood the attraction of buying "this season's" whatever, as 6 months down the line it's out of date anyway.

Oh, and for any Seniors out there, Ross has 10% off on a Tuesday for those age 55 and over.

Another good spot this year was Wilson's Leather at the outlets. Last time I was in there, it was full of luggage and leather jackets. This time they had Guess and MK handbags and Marc New York bags and jackets. Our best bargain was OH's Michael Kors padded winter jacket for $70! The assistant almost had a coronary when OH asked her if it was genuine or a fake!

Good stuff Luci, cheers!
I got 2 days in Laughlin in September, so hopefully i can get my jetski / boat hire sorted with a mini discount! :D
It was you I was thinking about when I hurriedly posted that deal, as I knew you were going back in September. I've since seen that Pebbles is visiting in October.

I always appreciate it when someone posts an offer or some useful information so it was nice to be able to give something back and not just be a Taker. ;)

Cracking deal that, thanks Luci! Is this for the .com website? as I have tried both .com and .co.uk, and both say the code is invalid?
It is the .com / US site. I believe it's only valid on "selected" items, but as I'm won't be going before the end of the year, I haven't tried it.

You can blame your fellow passengers for that. People said they would be happy to travel with hand baggage only if the fare was cheaper and the airlines responded. The problem is that some people are still expecting all the facilities of a full service airline at the same price as a budget airline and it's a race to the bottom. I cannot believe the number of posts I've seen from people going to Vegas hand baggage only. Not happening in my world. Like Stuie, a major part of our holiday is shopping so we always pay for an extra bag in addition to the "standard" 2 checked bags.
