Thanks for the support everyone. Stoneman has a weird sense of humour. He !!!!es me off all the time, but I let him get away with it, mostly. I will give him hell next time I see him. He only gets away with it because his wife is lovely.

I still think he’s wrong about the shopping. He’s a complete snob, and I’m not. (Just kidding Stoneman, but you know I’m right. )

On another note, Primm has a load of baby/child outlets still open. We have an abundance of great grandchildren to buy for and the cheapest we have seen are at Primm and the TKMaxx along Sahara. OH will have 7 ggbabies before our next trip.

Las Vegas to Primm on I-15 South is about 40 miles. If you fancy a longer drive with a fabulous bit of scenery and highway engineering at the end, Las Vegas to the Virgin River Gorge on I-15 North is about 100 miles. From the top of the gorge it's only a short distance to the town of St George which has a large range of shops and restaurants.

Quick question for you all, just to make sure I'm not going daft(er)

Been pricing up on Expedia for June (just curious, nothing definite)

So, The Venetian has a discount, £1800 each for 2 weeks. Go onto the flight, and It's Virgin, but £81 extra.
The Waldorf Astoria is approx £1700 each, but when you go onto the flight, it's also Virgin, but is £281 extra, for the same flight. (doesn't say if car parking is free though)

A £200 difference + I think that VA charge for a case each too (another gripe). How can this be right?

Not even thinking of booking anything till the new year, but just wanted to have a nosy.
BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j

Whether Virgin will be charging you for a case is dependant on the exact fare type. Remember they have Economy Light, Classic and Delight (so with the fare difference you mentioned, make sure you’re comparing like for like - tho a £200 jump sounds too much for it to be just differences in Economy fare... maybe Virgin just have a special package deal going for the Venetian)

Cracking deal that, thanks Luci! Is this for the .com website? as I have tried both .com and .co.uk, and both say the code is invalid?
