Over on the LV facebook group a number of peeps reporting of cancelled and heavily delayed BA flights to and from LV over the last few days. Not good when some only take a short break to LV. I would imagine BA are in for a lot of EU delay claims over this.

Looking at getting some cash changed up for the upcoming trip. Are there any high street operators who are happy to give you mainly 1s 5s and a few 10s... I nearly always pay by card but just need some small notes for tips :)

    hi
i ve never had any issues getting 1's.5's and 10's and a good amount !.
One time my brother checked rates and went to braehead travel and we asked to change something like £3000 into us dollars!! felt sorry for the cashier lady as it took like 25mins !! though we had a few 50's 20's and 10's in that transaction we did get like 40 5's something like 50 5's and alot of 1's.
Though i guess it ll depend on what shop you go to and if they have the amounts you are wanting, needing, though im sure they d be able to order the amount you want in for you
Im sure there are a currentcy thread/article, on the MSE site which gives the best rates in regards where you are.

    Hope this helps

what are peoples experiences of flying BA from heathrow to Vegas? This will be the first time we have used BA as we normally fly out with VA from Gatwick.
Are the planes as old and as bad as i have read online ;)

We flew with BA from LHR to LAS in May last year....
Was an old 747, and I mean old. Creaked a lot, I remember that!
We were towards the rear of the plane, but the 1 thing I remember the most ?
    The Seats.......... OMG !!!!!!!

My trip report from last year. Look at the comparison of the flight to Dublin with Ryanair vs the flight from LHR to LAS !

We would fly BA to LAX , but never again to LAS!
Shocking is an understatement! (crap plane, crap seat, and crap at leaving my dam bag behind!!)

Does anyone use mobile boarding passes?

How do they work if you're lead passenger for other people? Can you 'send' them to others in your group, or do you have to be present and scan them all in?

Likely differences in airlines but my experience is with BA.

On checkin I select the send by email option and can then distribute that as needed.
Last trip both the wife and I add the BP to the 'passport' on IOS and equivalent on my android phone for use.
We each also have the BA app which when logged in also displays boarding passes.

So the answer is I've had all, and each additional passenger has their own.

I know this falls into the 'asked and answered' category, but, as preferences, offers and t's & c's can and do change......

Where would you head for car hire in Vegas at the end of June for a few days (likely 4 or 5)?
My go to was always carhire3000 (now rentalcars.com) but before I hit confirm I thought it wise to seek the collective wisdom here.

I'm flexible on pickup location - strip or airport as we'll already have been in town for a few days.

    Thanks in advance.
