I have used alamobrits ,past few years, cars are newer and have been cheaper, but prices for car hire fluctuate greatly even day to day0

They still use the old 747 from Heathrow to Vegas. Best seats (and most expensive) in World Traveler are the exit row seats (28 B/C/H/J) IMO. The entertainment system is very old, take your own tablet with you if you have one.
worth noting that there have been cabin refreshes recently.
Best source of info on that is

When we go next month, were flying with VA , but doing LHR - LAX , and I got us in Prem Econ this time.... (Friday AM flight)
My goal, is to try my best stunt and see if I can upgrade us to Upper class at either £100pp max or ideally Free upgrade!
Not thought of a battle plan of a story line, but need to think of something the desk staff wont have heard before !!
Were staying in the Bellagio (Lux / C Palace / Bellagio) , and my email says I can use the chairmans lounge ? think i'll stick with the normal queue (well, the fast check-in queue at least)....
Need to make the most of my Platinum, as come 1st Oct, am pretty sure I will reset back to Gold , as I cant see me clearing 200k in tier credits on our trip soon !.
My 2nd (road trip to Vegas) is booked already, but we don't check-in to a hotel until the 1st Oct, shame that the status resets on the 1st and not the 2nd !
I been watching this girl on youtube called "Slot Lady" , think I am gonna have to do my own version called: "Slot so Lucky" , which am sure would be renamed to: "NOT so Slot so Lucky! "
Fingers crossed, I get the wins like the previous trips, and not put it all back in the slots or tables!
oh and car hire sucks a$$ with prices at the moment....0 -

Search on facebook for Las Vegas fans UK. I have only been on there a couple of weeks but some interesting stuff, questions and trip reports etc.
Ones with members mainly from the US are useful for certain things, like local knowledge and news. However I've always directed first time visitors to this thread, the MSE Vegas thread, as the information on Page 1 and the knowledge of the regulars on here is invaluable.
It has always been my first port of call because there are so many things which are relevant to UK visitors but are not so relevant to US visitors.
One example I saw last week. Someone asked if they could pre-order their cigarettes for buying on the flight. Apart from umpteen replies saying they hadn't seen cigarettes sold on flights, there was one categorically stating that you CAN'T. Then they said, "Have you never flown before?" I took that to be rude given their earlier comments in the thread, so I replied saying that you can buy Duty Free when flying internationally, then asked, "Have not not flown INTERNATIONALLY before?" They hadn't.0 -

I sooo wanna return to vegas and at the moment looking to going solo.I have a few questions-looking for advice...
I am looking to be going 7th june-12th june(over night flight so landing back in the uk 13th june) and since im going solo i think i d be most comfortable at the mgm grand, since its the only hotel i ve stayed in and feel i know where i am!
1.is it best to use the myvegas rewards?it seems at the moment i can get 25% off room rates..how easy is it to do this...need i log onto the Mlife website to do this and link the 2? p.s unsure if i can do this but i see there is a chance to get a comp night via myvegas..can i combine the 2 rewards here?
2.book with expedia which is turning out in around £1100 or there abouts ..for flights, hotel.and bagage.. grand king room at the mgm for 5 nights.
any advice most welcomed
cheers!0 -

Hmmm, a story they wouldn't have heard of:think::think:The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
