Sorry to hear you've had a tough time lately but good to see you posting again.
Good luck for the month ahead & be kind to yourself, you'll get there x0 -
Thanks Dancing x
Busy day at work the hours fly by. Small spend £2.94 in boots for deodorant and some soreen for a snack and £2.50 for tea fund for the month. I took my lunch and intend to do that tomorrow and Wednesday.
I have already got my train tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday so I have removed money and my debit card from my purse and leaving it at home ! On Wednesday I will need to stock up on bandages for my arm but that’s all that’s needed.
Best wishes

Morning NMC
I think an extra spend of just short of £10 isn't too bad for the shop, especially as it was a family outing
I don't think I could comfortably go out without my cards or cash but maybe you're more modern than me and in real emergencies use your phone to pay for things
Just noticed the list under your main post - I never read the small print lol. The Christmas savings are looking fab at £200 already.
Hope the burn is healing nicely. Have a good week. xx

Hi Tea
I do prefer cash and if I have my card with me I get too tappy happy with it. Cash makes me more aware. Thanks I am trying to get my Christmas savings spread over the year so not to take a big chunk in Oct - Dec wage. It comes straight out of my salary before I receive it to a credit union Christmas saver and I can’t touch it until Oct ish time so perfect for a rubbish saver like me x
have a fun Tuesday

Morning Thursday
Just popping all whilst I wait for help to get onto my work laptop ! I am working from home today until 2.30pm so a short day for me.
Took my lunch to work Mon, Tues and Wed had a NSD Tuesday too but needed some bandages and pain killers for my arm, also picked up some cleanser as I have run out. So spends in boots £7.97, scone and crisps (not the healthiest of breakfast) £1.40 and a bag of sweets £1.
Hoping for a NSD today we don't need anything anyway, working until school pick up, then tea and the girls are at brownies. There will be some spends this weekend as we are away for a couple of nights (with the girls) and our friends staying in their caravan. We are staying in Friday night, out Saturday day for lunch and a nice long walk, then home Sunday morning so hopefully it won't be too expensive. I then intend to give myself £20 per week between now and Easter holidays, think its whats called on the programme from years ago, spendaholics "cold turkey"!!
Have a lovely Thursday

Hi NMC
Your lunches and NSD's are mounting up nicely and the weekend away sounds like it's going to be lovely.
I have around £30 every week to spend and usually have something left over so fingers crossed you'll be fine with your spends. I prefer to hold on to mine as long as I can then splash the cash a little knowing there's more coming in a couple of dayIt's all psychological but it helps. xx

Hi Tea
I really should have no excuse not to cope with £20 in honesty I allocate for birthdays, hair, school dinners, brownies fees, potential school extras, mothers day etc separately so its basically £20 for randoms / treats and its not like I don't treat myself (well looking at my bank statement for the last 3 weeks its food which is the treat no wonder my jeans are tight !) Its the diet cokes, chocolate, home made scones at work and they all add up in both £'s and lbs !! I also work a stones throw away from a shopping centre so there are all the regulars M&S, greggs etc I need to start walking the opposite way on a lunch time and just go for a walk.
Hope you have had a lovely day

Ooh Spendaholics, there's a blast from the past 😄 used to love watching that.
Well done on the NSD's & good luck with going cold turkey x0 -
Thanks Dancing - me too I never missed an episode obviously the impact it had on me wasn't quite as successful but found some episodes on "u tube" at the moment and some were nearly 15 years ago and quite ashamed that habits haven't changed as much as I hoped since then
mind you throw children into the mix and its a whole new level of spending !

Hello Monday
Lovely weekend back home yesterday afternoon just about caught up on my washing !! Not too much spends enough but was expecting more. Today I had to stock up on dressing for my arm so £4.98 for that and a spend for a drink and rice cakes of £2.35.I have been tracking my spends over the last week had a NSD Thursday but that’s it hoping for one tomorrow and another lunch to work in the bag !I find NSD’s really hard and hoping the more I do and benefits of them i will start to overpay my debt and hopefully have some extra spends for Easter holidays as opposed to spending on nonsense.A quiet weekend ahead looking forward to it. payday is Friday, hair appointment Saturday and that’s it !Best wishes
