Update sent, and yet again I've asked the building society if we're ever going to be able to check balances other than by ringing up and speaking to someone  Got very excited when the woman said yes! I can use online banking! I queried as it's never been available for mortgages, but she said yes (but it's very basic) - however it won't actually let me register with a mortgage account number, so it seems she was mistaken... Sigh. And they only give the balance rounded to the nearest hundred (but that was close enough to what my own spreadsheet said that I'm going with the exact number this time)

Hey ho. Only £194,734 to go... :open_mouth::lol:

Just sent in my update :) I'll be sending in an adjusted mortgage balance from now on, because we've hit our overpayment limit for the year, so I'll be updating with the mortgage balance minus the overpayment savings pot.

    Original mortgage: December 2017, £203,495
    MFW start: April 2018, £201,800
Mortgage neutral: September 2022, mortgage redeemed: December 2022
New house, new mortgage: December 2022, £276,007
Current balance: £217,800 minus £8,300 overpayment savings pot

Thanks so much for this Trix, and I'm back in the green - woop woop!! :D:D I've been in the yellow for the last few quarterly update, so was making decent overpayments but not quite enough to hit my three year goal. This month I had a large lump sum income (£600ish) that I was able to throw at the mortgage in addition to my normal overpayments. Now I'm at 51.2% (green is 50%+) so that should hopefully give me a bit of wiggle room going forward.
    MFW2023 challenge #99: £1090.11 / £1,000 MFiT-T6 (Jan 2022 - Jan 2025) challenge #99: Reduce mortgage to £400,000. Current balance = £413,551.19 Initial MF date (23rd Aug 2022): Sep 2051 Current MF date: Jul 2051 Last updated: 15/06/2023

Thanks for the chart. I know I'm behind but still pleased as when I set my target I had no idea what was going to work for us and pleased we are overpaying. Well done everyone

Hi I just resubmitted my form, I think the person beneath me has my value, I might have put the wrong number down when i sent my form through a while back, OR the person beneath me has the same balance as me.
