Wishing you many more good days Mooloo.

Still coughing but think I'm finally on the mend so thanks everyone for your kind wishes.

Grateful today for taking out a postal vote a few months ago. Our polling station was moved early this year to a village further away . I've never missed voting so sending my vote off last week meant not dragging myself a few miles to vote.

    Night all. Sleep well.

    Another good day. No drama.
    No stresses.
    Lots of work finished.
Although I am tired, I am beginning to feel more like I am in control and less being controlled.
We had a good day takings wise as everyone had been text to hurry up and collect as we're closed next week.
So I can pay the rent on the 1st, and the wages without going into the overdraft.

Last day in the shop for a week. Several weddings coming up so lots of fittings today. Probably very little sewing will get done, but I am happy we are up to date.
Hopefully no drama today. The social worker came round yesterday just before DS went to work saying exgf had offered for us to have the children today, but we had to explain that we were both working and couldn't as we are going on holiday DS can't take the weekend off, but we had paid for the children to come on holiday Monday to Friday so we were happy to have them then but she won't let them go on holiday because she missed a holiday the weekend they broke up.
So we said unfortunately then she will have had the children for about 12 days with no respite then as she's had them since Wednesday and we cannot have them until next Sunday. He said they would be giving her extra visits next week then!
Her choice. We are going on holiday and taking one of Biggest girls with us for company for Dgd.
Mum is planning a holiday in August when I can take her, instead of Christmas, so this year I will have had a record number of holidays!
Something to look forward to and taking Dgd with us this time.

    I'm a bit confused :o
Is she refusing to let the boys go on holiday with you, or letting them go but the SW saying that she will be able to visit them whilst they are away?? (has the SW been changed yet)
Sounds as though she had (unexpected?) plans for today wanted to offload the boys onto DS!
The SW seems to not understand that you and DS can't be 'available' at the drop of a hat when you are both working, and that it is up to her to stick to the arrangements already made.
What does her missing a holiday have to do with the boys not being allowed to go on one- the mind boggles!!
Hope you manage to sort out the chaos and have a lovely time whilst you're away. (((hugs)))

but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
