I plan on taking my tablet, having a cup of tea and going to bed now that the children are in bed.
I believe that DS will get a curtesy ( spelling?) car at some stage, but we need to still recover the vehicle and have it assessed etc. I will probably have to drive the lad to Nursery tomorrow morning, and hope that I can get to work relatively soon after opening times.
DS has a burn on his arm, and has a few aches and pains. The insurance have been told etc now. The police were informed too.
I don't know what tomorrow will bring beyond the school run, and I don't want to think about it either.
It is way past the time for some good news and some good luck to come this way. Enough is enough after all. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I slept from 9.30 till around 1am then struggled to get back to sleep and ended up listening to my hypnosis tape around 3am
Baby woke very early this morning. I am hibernating in my room with my cup of tea but I need to get Dgd up for school and get myself showered and ready for the hour long school run!

Sorry that you had another disturbed night Mooloo, I hope the hypnosis tape helped. OH and I were both awake in the wee small hours of this morning too
I'm glad no-one was badly hurt in the car accident. It really is time that God/the gods/fate/the universe* stopped kicking you when you are already down!

I am just waiting to collect Dgs from Nursery. The sun is out so I have the roof down. My little pleasure.
DS is supposed to be getting a hire car at some stage today.
I will go to work tomorrow and try and catch up with the work. I managed to make a dog coat that was on order, but not much else. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
DS's hire car has come, so he's gone to the damaged car to collect his belongings and to try and arrange for a recovery vehicle to come out. We had to wait all day for the insurance to organise things.
The boys are definitely not going to sleep anytime soon!
The eldest is winding up the baby.
I feel a long evening for this granny!
It's been a beautiful day today, and I have tried to take pleasure in what we have.
I will still be needing an early night once they settle though!
Time for me to go back yet again and try to settle them down again! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well once the boys settled, and Dad came home 5 minutes later (typical), I was able to relax and read. I find myself falling asleep around 9.15.
I do hear the baby, but let Dad deal with him. Although at 7am I did bring the children down as I was coming down anyway.
It's finally all gone quiet and I've just had my breakfast in the garden. Listening to the world outside.
Normally today is my day off, but I am going to work so I can catch up on the jobs that I didn't fit in with all the upsets of late.
I am feeling calmer today.
I have told DS that he will need to cover the babysitting for his sister so I can catch up on my job.
One thing he can do for me anyway.
He still needs a rocket in the proverbial to get anything done! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mooloo, it sounds as if early nights are what you need at the moment (((hugs)))It's not difficult!

I have spent the time at work today, while the shop is shut we were able to get a huge amount of work done, so I feel much calmer about the work load.
I have decided to close next week, as only have staff one day, so not really much point. She can sew when the shop is shut like we did today. That will obviously reduce the months takings, but it will also reduce the wage bill.
And I will know that I am not coming back to a weeks worth of sewing. Although I expect it will come in the following week if history has anything to go by.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
A good day with sewing, a lovely day weather wise. No drama
No Crisis
No huge bills
