If you can’t face the hassle of freecycle then the BHF do a furniture collection service. You just book online. So much easier. And free0

I don't know whether you have an Emmaus Group nearby, Mooloo - but they will collect furniture/electrical goods as well as clothes and repair/resell in their shops - which are manned by people who have been homeless etc - see https://www.emmaus.org.uk/your_local_emmaus/filter/midlands0

I put it on a freebie site on local Facebook this morning. I will see what happens.
I have played around with some of the furniture this morning, removed a glass table top and chair from the kitchen and moved the folding table and chairs back in to the kitchen. Freeing up space in the front room. We don't really eat at the table very often, so moving it to the kitchen means I still can use part of it if I want to, but will make room for the desk and shelves.
I am no longer needed at Biggests for the weekend as her husbands trip was postponed, so I have a rate weekend free. I already staffed the shop so I will get a rare lay in again. X Bonus.
I have been down to the charity shop with a trolley bag full of shoes that I have been hoarding and a coat that no longer fits Dgd.
I am so far not having a panic attack which is a bonus.
I have had lunch, the third washing load is on trialing the Smol pods. Smells ok which is good.
So I am going to try and clear a bit more of my stuff in the bedroom he'll corner. Wish me luck! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Stopped for a rest. I have been thinning out the bags and boxes in my bedroom. Can't bring myself to throw out any fabric but I did fill a carrier bag with some nicnacs and clothes and a coat that I don't wear anymore. That will go to the charity shop on my way to work. Another washing load on, wet all hanging up in the bathroom. Large suitcase and sewing machine box put in the loft. Several boxes filtered down into smaller boxes and a bag full of paper/magazines in the recycle bin and several bags of fabric moved into the small room for now so I am beginning to see some space in the bedroom. Still a lot to do but at least I have made a start.
I gave two sample books of fabric to the brownies as they are making houses in boxes and the corduroy would make good carpet effect so she has collected them. I have stopped for a cuppa.
Not sure if I will get more done now though. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Someone is coming to collect the wall unit tomorrow. So I will be able to take up the carpet and inspect the floor. Then decide if I can sand it or will need to have a different cover on it.
I will start again tomorrow now.
I have a few spare ribs in the oven. Dgd has gone off to do Roller Disco at the leisure centre.
I have a bag full of costume jewellery to start to sort out. I am not sure if it will sell or if I will be free cycle it too. Feeling calmer that the unit is at least going to a new home rather than the tip.
Maybe giving away the clutter will be easier for me than I expected. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Possibly!
If I can get back to my Upcycling sooner rather than later.
Dgd Just has another accident, at roller disco, so just been to collect her. Her right wrist again. It's been on ice, and now I have bandaged it up. Will check it later. Don't think it is broken.
I will keep an eye on it.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Bad night both for me and Dgd. My sleep was evading me, Dgd stomach cramps kept her awake. I have sent her back to bed. I hope that her experience with periods are not going to be as bad as mine used to be.
I am still needed to look after Biggest children including dgd2, as biggest is needed as a teacher at cheer.
But Mum and I will not be going anywhere. So I will potter before and after I visit the home.
Not sure I will be having a very productive day today!
Oh well.
I know you can’t say meds wise but if she suffers with bad period pain I’d get her into the docs as they will try her on various meds to try and help (I was on one that stopped it as long as I ate, but it’s worth getting an app for it as it can be awful):T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:

Hi Mooloo, I'm a professional declutterer and my experience with clients is that they keep masses of stuff to sell for years and it never gets done and just adds to the stress. When they finally decide to just let it go by giving it away, the relief is physically visible, as I can see them stand up straighter and look so much lighter. They tell me they feel so much better when it has gone and can see it in their whole demeanor.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
