Slower start this morning as we were up late last night.
I didn't wake up until 9.40! Having blackout curtains means you don't realise how late it is unless you look at a clock or in my case the time on the phone.
We're all breakfasted, and I am sitting on the balcony with Mum. Just waiting for Dgd to get ready. She's slower than a sloth. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Mooloo, how lovely to have swum with the dolphins! I hope that today is equally enjoyable.
It does sound as if you are the shoulder that everyone else cries on. It is great that you are loved and trusted but you do need time off, to replenish your own batteries, sometimes! I'm sorry that you haven't been able to switch off and relax as we had all hoped.
I understand that sometimes saying something on here gets it out of your head and doesn't mean that you will say the same thing to your family in 'real life'. As such, it acts as a 'safety valve' just like the ones on the pressure cookers .
I do hope that DS and Biggest will have resolved their differences by the time you get home, so that you can all get on with day to day life. It's not difficult!

You know what life is hard, we don't all have perfect families. Mooloo vented due to what was going on. Suicide is common in young men, people continue to bring up the past, he's trying for gods sake! You know maybe biggest is bullying him does he deserve that, if you think so then that's your opinion. Some comments are just nasty.
Enjoy your last day moo Xx.0 -
Were awake! I am just trying to get Dgd to wake properly as we have to get to the airport. I just realised that Mum will need the wheelchair from the car park and I hadn't thought of that. I hope they can call for assistance for us.
We had a good day yesterday. We watched the sea lions and seals, they have changed the show since the last time and it was more factual and demonstrated about them than the acting of the past.
Then we watched the dolphin show (twice in the end), followed by the Acrobatic Pirate show.
It was a long day but Dgd loves it.
Mum stayed in the apartment and had the salad etc and fruit I left her.
She read and people watched from the balcony.
We had a later evening chatting about all sorts of things. Mum tells us so many stories of the past.
Time to dress and pack the last few things. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hope you all have a safe journey home.0

We're back at Mums. Looks like we brought the sun back with us.
We are going to have to wait for DS to come to collect us, but the roads are closed for Silverstone bike GP is going on.
Apparently DS and Biggest have smoothed over their differences.
So that's good.
We should all be back in our own beds tonight.
Tomorrow is back to work and get the shop cleared. Also a lot of customers have been in contact while I was away so hopefully that is a good sign. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Welcome back Mooloo. You really have brought the sun too much for me but I imagine welcome for those who love the heat. I imagine you'll have a bit of a wait for the roads to clear today but as you say everyone should be in their own beds tonight.
Good to hear Biggest and ds have sorted things out .It was best to leave it up to rhem. Choose your battles is the way to go.

Boys are not settling down. A mixture of being back home and the heat.
It feels hotter here than Portugal because we don't have air conditioning to help cool us down. But I will not complain about it, it made a change not to need wellies and a so'wester on our return.
I have done very little except cook pizza for the family as that was all I had in the freezer.
Tomorrow is going to be busy. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
