I would like to share my experiences of Cherrywood Cars of Astwood Bank near Redditch.

I bought a car from this dealer which broke down a few days after purchase. Unfortunately, they were unable to properly repair the vehicle and refused a refund. I am in the process of recovering the money for the car but this is proving hard as they are difficult to pin down.

Negative reviews on review sites are drowned out by reviews from other customers in return for an extended warranty. Therefore, I have started this thread so experiences can be shared.

I am in contact with trading standards and the police but they are reluctant to take further action as they do not have sufficient numbers of dissatisfied customers to build a case. If you PM me I can provide you with contact details.

Which company did you buy from?


"Another single mum gave (x) £40,000 to convert her basement but he left the job before completing it.

(X) also received a concurrent eight-month sentence, for acting as a director of Blackdown Construction Ltd between December 2006 and December 2007, despite being banned from running a firm because of bankruptcy.

The fraud related to March 2008, when he conned three building merchants into handing over £15,000 of supplies on credit."

Perhaps you could give more detail of what happened.
You need to very carefully record all dealings you have with these individuals.

That is one of the issues I am having it is not clear from whom the vehicle was purchased as the invoice only states "Cherrywood Cars".

Unfortunately, I am limited in what I can say as I do not want to prejudice legal proceedings. Fortunately, I have kept thorough records of what happened.
