Just popping in quickly to say, 'Well done to all the losers' Keep it up.

I am not expecting much this week following a Hum Dinger of a weekend:rotfl: I got through two 100gms bars of chocolate and two other bags of chocolate.:o Half bottle of wine, Can of cider and a can of beer. A whole Pizza which I added extra cheese, peppers, pepperoni, olives, onions and a few other bits too.:rotfl:

Have been hard on it though since Sunday. I have started to run and row again after a few years gap. Nothing much but its a start.

I feel better now I have made my confession. :D

Edit; Just one other thing I remembered. I had the last layer of chocolate McVities biscuits too...I am sure that is it.:D It wasn't, I didn't mention the half box of crackers and cheese...:o

OMG, I'm rich! Silver in the hair, Gold in the teeff, Crystals in the Kidney, Sugar in the blood, Lead in the butt, Iron in the arteries and an inexhaustible supply of natural gas! I never thought I would accumulate such wealth!! :rotfl::rotfl:
  • Sounds like a good weekend Marmite! :D

Aldi cappuccino sugar-free sweet 0.5 (is that the right syns for those?) am aware they can have a laxative effect, but tasted nice.

    Yep half a syn each.

Popped on the scales and pleased to say my weekend gain has all but gone and I'm almost back at my WI weight :o Four days to reduce it even more. Would love to lose 2lbs to get to 14 1/2 stone - it's good to have little milestones to aim for. But its TOTM so we'll just have to see.

    Today:
    B - None
D - Quorn bacon, mushroom, onion and cheese omelette with beans
T - Pork chop, SW chips, and carrot and beetroot salad
    HEA - Milk and cheese
    HEB - Almonds
    Syns - Sugar in coffee (5), packaged beetroot (1), hot choc (2) = 8
    Weightloss: 14.5/65lb

Morning all. My living room is looking a bit more normal now and the kitchen is beginning to look like a kitchen. The appliances which were in the living room and are in the kitchen/utility area:j.

Hoping I can get at the cooker later to cook some lunch otherwise it's going to be another sandwich:eek:.

    Today's plan:

B - one slice toast, scrape of olive spread 4 Syns
L - scrambled eggs on toast or cheese sandwich
D - cottage pie with added veg. Will also have some mashed swede (can't believe I haven't got any green veg - fresh or frozen - on the list for shopping on Thursday!)

    HEA - milk
HEA2 - cheese if I have to have a sandwich!
    HEB - bread
Syns - extra slice of bread 3, olive spread 1

    How are you Stoke?

Not in a particularly great place right now, but my weight isn't suffering. I've never been a comfort eater as such, but I can be prone to the occasional meltdown binge and that's what I'm desperately trying to avoid.

Hope everyone is having a good week so far :)

Not sure how today's going to work out. I'm out later and a buffet is provided. Previously there has been cold meat, fish and salady bits on offer but if it's just sandwiches.:(

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, scrambled eggs, HEB toast, bacon, HEA milk for drinks, HP sauce 1
L: cold meat, fried veg and pickles
    D: tbc

Change of plan for dinner! Going to have burger, SW chips, beans & mushrooms.

Cottage pie can wait until tomorrow night when I get some fresh veg.

Mama hope the buffet is better than just sandwiches, nothing worse than when there isn't anything SW friendly.

I've put on weight during a stressful period.
Any good tips for comfort eaters?
I guess I need to find something else.
Going out for a walk isn't possible in my current job where I need to be at my desk.
What other strategies are there for dealing with it?

Or worse still when the buffet is sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps and deep fried various beige food in batter or breadcrumbs.

WI day for me and it's -3lb for me. Glad with that, and all heading in the right direction.

    Meal plan today:

    B - banana
    snack - Alpen light 3.5
L - porridge HeB, sugar (2) & milk from HeA
    D - chicken & veg stir fry with noodles (2.5) & (1 for sauce)
afternoon snack - 0% yogurt with apples (1.5)

I really begrudge having to have the alpen light and synning it, but I was absolutely starving because the nectarine I took to work for breakfast wasn't ripe.

OH commented last night that he's having the best dinners of his life right now, and he's being a bit lovey dovey today when he's texting me. It must be all those vegetables and wholegrains.... oh and he had a PB in the gym last night by lifting 120kg or something, so that's more than likely it!
